  The most amzing book I ever read!
  
  Gabriele Caccini is a 400 year old vampire who can't find a mate to become immortal with him.He tries to create a mate that will survive and become his immortal lover and he doesn't intentionally mean to kill them and he suffers from their deaths but won't give up hope in finding a lover.Each lover that he takes to bed with him he has a locket reserved for them and when they don't survive he puts their hair in it and keeps them as trophies.He is very attached to his lockets as each lover becomes a part of his life.He continues to search for his mate and attends a University where he meets women and one girl Lilly catches his eye and she is the opposite of his taste,also there is another girl Carolyn that is his type and it's a love triangle.Gabriele and Lilly go to a party and their drinks are spiked with E and they have sex and she survives his sexual encounter and bite.This is a very passionate,sexual,and lustful novel that will surprise you in the end and grab you!Each chapter flips back and forth from his past to the present and it take you by surprise.He only wants to be loved and give love in return,He is the protagonist of the story. I cannot get this story out of my head and it will have you hooked and want more!!

  Very Entertaining Read!
  
  Ms. Stone weaves a wonderful tale, telling the reader about the long and lonely life of Gabriele Caccini, the vampire who wants nothing more than to find a woman of his own kind he can share his life with.
  
  As a young man, Gabriele is seduced by a female vampire and left for dead, but he survives. He is doomed to a life of immortality, where he must sacrifice close relationships for the ability to abandon his surroundings at a moments notice in order to keep his secret safe.
  
  By switching back and forth from Gabriele's present life to his haunting past, the author reveals the depth and disparity of her main character as the book unfolds, telling two stories: his current quest to find a woman he can change into one of his own and spend all of eternity with, and his past life (or lives) where he sadly gained his curse and learned how to live with it and his failed attempts at love.
  
  The story moves along crisply thanks to Stone's storytelling. The characters are well defined, and you can't help but feel for the lonely vampire, as he carefully chooses his victims in hope that they survive his attack, enabling him to have a companion.
  
  Vampire fans who are drawn to the mysterious sexual lure that the immortals have over their 'common' peers will love Stone's seductive prose. She captures the passion and lust perfectly, without going overboard and making it a tawdry romance novel.
  
  This is a very promising showing for a new author.
