  A solid pick for suspense readers
  
  When people search for proof of the legendary King Arthur, few think to hunt down his skeleton. "The Digger's Rest" is a story following a team of archaeologists as they dig through the ruins of an ancient medieval castle for the body of Arthur. While they begin to shine new light on one of history's mysteries, it isn't the one they were looking for. Adventure blended in a bit with horror, "The Digger's Rest" is a solid pick for suspense readers.

  The Diggers Rest
  
  If you like mystery / horror tails there is a little known author K. Patrick Malone I recommend. He currently has completed two works that have won honors at various book festivals. The first of which is Inside a Haunted Mind and his newest work is The Diggers Rest. I found Inside a Haunted Mind to be a truly fascinating novel. He paints a beautiful picture of a small town life with all its hidden, unknown and often questionable secrets. Malone's ability to build a character base with such depth was intriguing. I felt like I could feel their pain and anxiety. He exposes an often overlooked segment of society that feeds off of the pain of others while revealing the factions timelessness.
  Diggers Rest is a story that mixes the old and new, mystery and myth. Like Inside a Haunted Mind you don't see it coming! He uses a mix of suspense and sex in both works. I have enjoyed them since they are not your typical blood and guts thrillers. The story lines are well thought out and leave you wanting more. Like many authors they can be slow starting but fast to come to life, so to speak.
  I look forward to reading his next work, hopefully I won't be waiting long.Inside A Haunted Mind
