The Seer's Lover (The Seven Archangels Series) Review
The Seer’s Lover was a very enjoyable read and I will definitely read it again in the future. Thank you Kat de Fella for this creepy horror suspense novel that made me smile a lot during certain points in the book. The first few pages made me know that I was in for a good coffee filled read - I love coffee. Reading a little more into the book was sort of terrifying and I decided this makes a better daytime read than nighttime. I finished this book in no time because The Seer’s Lover is a book full of demons, angels, love, twists and suspense that just reels the reader in. I could not put the book down because I wanted to know what happened next.
I love the way the author describes the sky, ocean, angels, demons, characters and settings. It was an easy read because I visualized everything as though I was there and it was easy to connect with the characters and their various feelings. I am smiling as I am writing this review because I am thrilled and looking forward to reading more from Kat de Fella.
Calise Rowe is our intelligent main character who I related to immediately after the pharmacy incidence. She can sense demons and angels since childhood and was told all her life that she was delusional and that there is no such thing. Now that she is told different by a total stranger, she quickly travels from Wisconsin to Costa Rica to find more information. Calise met Lucas who is brave, mysterious, and confident of himself fighting demons and winning. Lucas is also a seer of angels and demons that has hidden his gift for years from the humans. He does not want to share it with Calise because he is afraid of bringing danger to her. Their desire for each other escalated. He lost a lot of battles against demons until the very end of the book where he fought for in the name of love and won. I compared him to a typical guy who thinks he can win at everything. Read the book and find out what happens, will the humans survive this war between seers and demons?
The cover of this book is very compelling and it makes you want to read it without even knowing what the book is about. The book made me think about angels and demons walking around us - it creeped me out. Kat you made my heart race and pound during the intense nightmarish parts - looking forward to your next book. I recommend this book for adults because it has suggestive inferences to sexual matters.
