Game Has Some Real Drawbacks
Both my grandson and I were excited to get this Nintendo DS game. Over all, it's a VERY fun, challenging game. HOWEVER, there are several parts of the game that cannot be played with the available controls on the DS. The log flume ride cannot be controlled, nor can the boat ride - no matter what you do - it's not controllable. It tells you to use an option that is NOT on the Nintendo DS. There are many other parts of the game that are the same way on this DS system. It's so frustrating when you can't play ALL of the games in each level. It will tell you to use a certain function to play a particular level of the game - but it does not exist on the DS - which the GAME IS DESIGNED FOR. My grandson became very confused by this game and upset that he could not play with all parts of it - many of the areas we cannot play are the hight point levels in the game. I was just as frustrated. I would give it the highest marks if not for these drawbacks. The graphics are great but the game is not what we expected.

Alot of fun
Great for all ages. I purchased this game for my 7yr. old, there are plenty of carnival type events that are challenging on basically 3 levels rewarded as either bronze, silver, or gold medals called "Horrors". Points are based on such horrors, bronze being being the least to gold being the most point value. The more horror points you gather the more events you'll be able to play. There's alot to the game which keeps it interesting, it's not something you or your child will pass in a week then be done with and toss to side. Perfect for a lazy day or long car ride. I tried this game myself and liked it alot, I found the controls to be rather simple, and the graphics pretty good, the horrors or monsters in the game are actually pretty scary looking which is cool. Easy enough for young players and yet still challenging enough for the young at heart, I have to rate this as a five star overall, and would recommend this game to friends and family especially those with a child(ren) they want to keep occupied for any length of time.

Slow start.
I bought this for my 9yo son. He thought it was really hard at first but now seems to be addicted. He plays it quite a bit and is having fun with it even though it is sometimes harder than he'd prefer.
