Broke as soon as I picked it up
This broke the first time I picked it up. I couldn't believe it. I picked up the blaster, tried moving the back handle without even using much force, and it just broke off in my hand. It looks really cool, but it is just poorly designed and manufactured. The Wii Zapper leaves something to be desired, but at least it is pretty well constructed. Don't bother with the Capcom blaster. I can't believe they would even sell this thing.

Looks cool breaks easy!
I hate the Wii Zapper, and this was recomended by the guys at Game Stop. Once I figured out what to do with the cord for the nunchuck it worked great, for a while that is. The top for the controller kept comming loose until if finally broke. As an engineer I improved the design. Used a drill, some hard wire and pliers to keep it on there forever. Now the controller doesn't come out by accident! Then my son broke the nunchuck holder through rapid reloading. We were playing a hunting game that uses a similar action to RE reload action. We loved how easy it was to reload, but even though my son is 10 years old and gets a little over excited it shouldn't have broken that easy in my opinion. We still use the gun portion, but I am at a loss for what to use as a reloading mechanism for games that require the nunchuck.

Better Than Nothing
The Blaster looks great, but the Wii zapper works alot better. First I had a problem with the cord, when I did get it in, it was in the way, just hanging there. But I really
didn't need it so I removed the cord. The nunchuck holder at the rear of the gun kept coming off, it slides off to easy, so I removed it, I wasn't using the nunchuck anyway. But my biggest problem is the controller will not stay put in the controller compartment at the front of the gun. You raise the small door, set your controller in and close the little door, which if it worked would be great, but the little door on my gun will not lock down. I have forced it closed, then as I pull the trigger over time, the controller will force the little door open, and then either the controller will fall out or the trigger stops working, because the controller is loose. I put tape over the door to keep it closed. All guns may not have this problem, but mine does.

Great combination of Perfect Shot and official Nintendo blaster
I recently purchased this blaster because I am a huge fan of the RE series and enjoy the gun-style games on Wii. I have the official Wii blaster made by Nintendo that came with Link's Crossbow training. The only thing that I like about that blaster better than this is the cord management, the RE blaster leaves the cord to the nunchuck hanging off to one side or the other. Other than that, I love this blaster. It has a spring in the trigger (much more accurate than the lack of one in the Nintendo model) and you have the option to take off the back grip and play with this gun in pistol mode. This makes the cord management a non-issue. Now let me compare this to the Nyko Perfect Shot, which I also own. The Perfect Shot has a much larger grip, and the wiimote fitment is a little more snug and secure (not that its loose by any means in the RE gun, but just better in the Perfect Shot). It also allows you to plug in a nunchuck through the passthrough at the bottom of the grip. This is great if you need it, but it leaves the nunchuck loose in your second hand. If I could choose one "blaster" shell out of all 3, I would suggest the RE blaster. It's versatility is excellent because its really a combination of the other two, and it just looks sweet.. Plus, it comes with an Umbrella Corporation thumb grip and skin for your wiimote, a nice touch.

'Cord Management System'? Wait for the Penguin Crossfire!
This gun is a piece of junk! Sure it looks great, but wtf is with their 'Cord Management System'? A tiny little hole that you could maybe fit $1.00 worth of quarters in? Give me a break... this is a MAJOR design flaw. There is NOwhere to put the cable & as another reviewer said - the cable just hangs out, getting in the way, and making everything look just plain sloppy. **EDIT: Wait for the Penguin Crossfire as it's an actual gun controller with no need to slip anything else into it. Yup, it's not going to be just a stupid gun-shaped 'case' to hold the Wiimote.**
