Review of Star Wars The Force Unleashed: Ultimate Sith Edition
The story and action of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed expands with the release of Star Wars The Force Unleashed: Ultimate Sith Edition, a special new version of the game that will show gamers the deepest, darkest side of the Force in a story that puts them on a collision course with Luke Skywalker himself. The Ultimate Sith Edition includes all of the original missions found in Star Wars: The Force Unleashed as well as content previously only available via download and an all-new exclusive bonus level. It combines the original Star Wars: The Force Unleashed videogame and three new levels to create the definitive ultimate-evil storyline of the events that occurred between the two classic Star Wars movie trilogies. Additional content includes two levels set on Coruscant and Tatooine previously only available via direct download and an all-new exclusive level available only in the Ultimate Sith Edition package. Star Wars: The Force Unleashed completely re-imagines the scope and scale of the Force and casts players as Darth Vader's "Secret Apprentice," unveiling new revelations about the Star Wars galaxy seen through the eyes of a mysterious new character armed with unprecedented powers. Originally released in September 2008, the game quickly became the fastest-selling Star Wars game ever, and has since sold six million units worldwide.

Great game but the case it comes in is awful
I am writing to speifically comment on the case it comes in. The prongs holding the discs are poorly designed. You need the jaws of life to pry the disc out so I just don't put it back. The bonus art is a waste of print. The game itself is awesome including the level of detail in the level design. All of the force combos are satisfying and easy to pull off and I stink at gaming and can never pull of combos on other games.

Almost perfect - Idea: Ultimate Unleashed
Yeah I bought the first one and thoroughly enjoyed it. For the Ultimate Sith Edition, I debated as to whether or not to get it. I hadn't downloaded any of the new missions, and what actually sold me is if I should want to show off this game on someone elses 360. With the disc it's easier to share.
One of the big issues that I have now-a-days with the entertainment market is that they aren't giving much to the customer for their hard earned dollar. Those who make audio CDs, DVD/BRDs, games and the like pay attention to this. One of the ways that you can show love to the customer (and possibly cut in on some of the copying, modifying and bootlegging going on) is to pay attention to how you package your item.
This case for the Ultimate Sith Edition is very attractive and sets it apart from other games that may be on your shelf. (except for maybe MW2) The metal case and artwork make you feel as though you are opening something special.
Inside are the original game, the bonus disc containing the three additional missions, the regular instruction book and another book of photos showing the different outfits worn in the game. The book is really nothing special, but at least LucasArts is trying.
If you've never played the game, it is most definitely worth it. In the Force Unleashed you see another side of the SW universe that answers questions that you may have had when watching the movies but felt like you might be considered a geek for asking. You see planets where it's whole purpose is to be a junk yard or place of machine manufacturing. (think Bespin, Tatooine, and Mustafar all together.) You see planets where even the plant life attacks you, and even the inner workings of how that planet destroying lazer from the death star was generated. The game is a beautifully drawn and wondrously sounding addition to the SW universe. My wife, who isn't a big SW fan even enjoyed just watching the story unfold and hearing the sounds from this game.
The only reason that this repackaging did not get 5 stars from me is that the new editions were not enough. Considering, most of the people who will purchase this game, already have the first one, the price should be around $30 to $35. Additionally, they should have added 6 new missions total. Since the end of the FU has a moment where you could possibly become good, why not have 3 missions as a good person along with the 3 for being a Sith. You of course would then need to retitle the game, The Ultimate Unleashed Edition. Lastly, they should include a 3rd disc that is just the making of the game.
Since most of us are purchasing this game a second time, give us something back. What you did give was nice, but you're only "almost perfect."

So much fun!!!
Star Wars The Force Unleashed was probably the best Star Wars game I've ever played. I didn't actually own it though so when I saw this deal for The Ultimate Sith Edition I jumped on it. For some people it's probably not worth the buy if they already own the 2 maps that were previously released. Disc 1 is the original game with all of the character packs. Disc 2 is the three newer maps and all the rest of the previously released downloadable content. The game is so much fun I say trade in your old one and pick this one up it's worth it too for a cheaper price.

Forget the Price, The Force is Still With This Game!
So you purchased Star War The Force Unleashed one year age and played the heck out of it just like every other Star Wars fanatic out there.
Now the Ultimate Sith Edition comes out and what do you do?
YOU BUY IT OF COURSE!
So the included collectible image stinks and so does the artbook, but you still gotta like the fact that not only do you get the original game, you also get all the downloadable content on one disc.
And don't forget the limited edition steelbook case too!
Regardless, of what you may think of this game getting rereleased with all the DLC's, if you have never played the online content before, then you must get this game to experience what it would be like if Starkiller actually did kill Darth Vader and went on to battle an old Obi Wan Kenobi followed by Starkiller's arrival on Hoth to battle Luke Skywalker.
C'mon...your inner Star Wars nerd has ALWAYS wanted to battle with Kenobi and Skywalker......(this is where you're saying "yes I do want to fight them" in your head)......so go out and get it already!
