Playback Review

A cop investigates the case of a missing local teen, though he discovers a dark secret that has been unleashed in his town, and an evil spirit that will stop at nothing to find its heir.

Julian sets out to reenact the town’s gruesome Harlan Diehl family murders for a school project. He asks the social outcast Quinn to assist with video equipment and research. This is no prob for Quinn to borrow. Quinn watches the original footage and the evil spirit of the deceased killer enters his body like a demon. The evil entity destroys anyone in its path.

I thought the horror movie was okay and had a decent plot. I especially loved the part when Christian Slater died. That alone should warrant you to watch the film. They threw in some old lore about photographs stealing the soul and a man who found out how to do it for himself.
