Crazy Bitches Review
Synopsis:A girls' weekend away turns into a nightmare when, one by one, they are killed by their own vanity.
Crazy Bitches (2014) is an American comedy horror movie that 100 minute long and was filmed in Great Spirits Ranch, Malibu, California, USA. Director and writer Jane Clark (Meth Head (2013), Dog Gone: A True Story (2003), The Touch (2007)) is also the producer and editor of this film. Jane deserves some credit for pulling off this movie that was somewhat entertaining on a small budget. The movie includes violence, suspense, twist, gore and some funny scenes.
Crazy Bitches is about seven former sorority sisters and their friend who is gay are heading to a secluded location to reunite with each other. They are looking forward to some girl time in their rented secluded ranch. The girls are about to regret getting together at the ranch as the sisters go missing one by one. They do not know that several girls were brutally murdered at the ranch they’re staying at 15 years prior to their visit. The girls are chatting and getting along until secrets that are meant to stay secret are revealed. The remaining girls are trying to fight for their lives and stay safe as they are disappearing one at a time.
Crazy Bitches is not a movie I will watch again, but it was entertaining with the fun kills and twists. The entire cast did a great job with their roles and did a phenomenal job when it came time to reveal the killer. The killer reveal was a huge unexpected twist for me. The scenes in the third act seem to be rushed and caused a huge mess of things. Keep in mind that the budget was minimal, and the director made a difference by choosing beautiful sets for this movie.
