Gary Meyer"s The Winedancers (2014) is a horror comedy that is focused on the pagan side of things. I feel like they are celebrating the Greek God of Wine Dionysus. I know it is way too earlier to call this horror movie but I am not interested in this one yet. Starring in The Winedancers are Lucinda Rhodes, Kim Sonderholm, Kasia Koleczek, Miglen Mirtchev, Edmund Digby-Jones and Kyle Calderwood.
The film is about a number of groups of people coming together and meeting up, in what to begin with looks very coincidental, at a winecheateu in the South of France. Needless to say, it won’t take long until a lot of very peculiar incidents start taking place; odd Pagan rituals, chateau hosts very far from the ordinary, people slowly going off the deep and end one by one – and most importantly: bloody murder – VERY bloody murder, in fact, offering real suspence that can almost be described as a classic game of whodunit with a lot of twists and turns!
Synopsis:What seems like an innocent wine tasting weekend turns into a bizarre, wicked, sensually overheated debauchery, culminating in a murderous grand finale evening and fateful morning after.
