• The Inhabitants (2015) - Trailer

Co-directors Michael Rasmussen and Shawn Rasmussen bring us The Inhabitants (2015) which seems very suspenseful and slow. The movie trailer looks like a much more interesting and faster-paced version of the film but if you like slow developing horror films full of suspense, The Inhabitants may be just what you need. There are some pretty cool creepy scenes in the trailer too. Elise Couture, Michael Reed, and India Pearl star in The Inhabitants.

  • Amnesiac (2015) - Trailer

    Amnesiac (2015) - Trailer

Michael Polish's Amnesiac (2015) movie trailer looks interesting with Kate Bosworth and Wes Bentley playing wife and husband until Wes Bentley realizes she is not his wife after all. Amnesiac seems like it is along the lines of Stephen King's Misery (1990) but with more mind games. Kate Bosworth, Wes Bentley, and Olivia Rose Keegan star in Amnesiac.

  • Blackburn (2015) - Trailer

    Blackburn (2015) - Trailer

Lauro Chartrand's Blackburn (2015) is not a movie for everyone. Fans of the subgenre including films like The Texas Chain Saw Massacre and The Hills Have Eyes would enjoy this movie, but I do not like that subgenre, so the trailer was viewed with those thoughts in mind. The movie trailer looks okay in the beginning half then spirals out of control with tons of gory scenes. Lochlyn Munro, Jen Soska, and Calum Worthy star in Blackburn.

  • Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016) - Trailer 2

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016) - Trailer 2

Warner Bros. and Zack Snyder's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016) has a new trailer that premiered on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night. This trailer is jam-packed with new footage in a 3-minute video. The trailer stresses the tension between Superman (Henry Cavill) and Batman (Ben Affleck) with Lex Luther (Jesse Eisenberg) making an appearance along with Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) and Doomsday. The movie trailer ends with the core members of the Justice League…

  • Unnatural (2015) - Trailer

    Unnatural (2015) - Trailer

Hank Braxtan's Unnatural (2015) from VMI Worldwide has some great sceneries and tone. I usually do not put much stock in survival movies because they are so similar, but this trailer makes me excited to see the full film. The trailer slowly sets up the watcher for the "mad scientist" aspect of the movie where they reveal that genetically engineered polar bears have been created, and they are huge. James Remar, Sherilyn Fenn, and Ron Carlson star in…

  • He Never Died (2015) - Trailer

He Never Died (2015) - Trailer

He Never Died (2015) is coming to movie theaters on December 18, 2015, via Vertical Entertainment. Jason Krawczyk directs Henry Rollins, Booboo Stewart, and Steven Ogg in this supernatural noir film. The trailer looks really good and full of action. Jack (Rollins), aka Cain from Genesis, is still alive and tries to live a simple life, but someone kidnaps his daughter and Cain is mad for revenge. I really want to see this movie, but I do…

  • 976-Evil II (1991) - Trailer

    976-Evil II (1991) - Trailer

I have a soft spot for the trailers from the 90's and there strong narrative. Jim Wynorski's 976-Evil II (1991) movie trailer looks fantastic and has all the right scares. The 976-Evil movies, including Robert Englund's 976-EVIL (1988), have always been a guilty pleasure of mine that I watch again every few years. This trailer is a good movie trailer for a not so good film. Debbie James, Rene Assa, and Patrick O'Bryan star in 976-Evil II.

    Judas Ghost (2013) - Trailer / Poster

Simon Pearce's Judas Ghost (2013) DVD releases this upcoming December 1, 2015, via Uncork'd Entertainment. The poster warns you to "be careful what you hunt for." The trailer looks like the film will be worth watching with some flash scares, but some of the camera angles make some of the scenes in the trailer look cheesy. Martin Delaney, Lucy Cudden, and Simon Merrells star in Judas Ghost.

  • The Other Side of the Door (2016) - Trailer

The Other Side of the Door (2016) - Trailer

Johannes Roberts' The Other Side of the Door (2016) movie looks incredible. The trailer hits every point why you should not dabble in contacting the dead. Think of this as the same concept as Stephen King's Pet Sematary but with a totally new setting and leading events. A grieving mother contacts her son on the other side in a mysterious Temple but breaks the rules by opening the doors. She opens the doors to the dead…

  • Jeruzalem (2015) - Trailer

    Jeruzalem (2015) - Trailer

Co-directors Doron Paz and Yoav Paz just released this awesome trailer for Jeruzalem (2015). The movie trailer appears to be action packed with good mythology and monster special effects. This trailer has a good quote a little past the midway point stating: "... There are three gates to Hell. One in the desert, one in the ocean, and one in Jerusalem." Jeruzalem is set to release in select movie theaters and on VOD this upcoming January 22,…

  • Captain America: Civil War (2016) - Trailer

Captain America: Civil War (2016) - Trailer

Too bad we have to wait until May 6, 2015, to see Captain America: Civil War (2016), because this new trailer is amazing! Marvel and co-directors Anthony Russo and Joe Russo seem to have nailed this epic battle between the Marvel superheroes fantastically. I especially love the battle at the end with Captain America and Winter Soldier pummeling Iron Man. Scarlett Johansson, Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., and Sebastian Stan star in Captain America: Civil War. Synopsis: Marvel’s Captain America: Civil…

  • Midnight Special (2015) - Trailer

    Midnight Special (2015) - Trailer

Jeff Nichols' Midnight Special (2015), is described by the director as an ode to John Carpenter's Starman (1984) and Stephen Spielberg's Close Encounters of the Third Kind (1977). Those are some big expectations to live up to so it is no surprise that he garnered such an amazing cast: Michael Shannon, Joel Edgerton, Sam Shepard, Kristen Dunst, and Adam Driver. Jeff Nichols Interview excerpt: The son happens to have unique gifts. It’s a weird word to use,…

  • Dementia (2015) - Trailer

    Dementia (2015) - Trailer

IFC Films and Mike Testin's Dementia (2015) looks interesting with a nurse hellbent on exacting some form of revenge as a live-in nurse on a war veteran. • Backtrack (2015) - Trailer

  • The Huntsman Winter's War (2016) - Trailer

    The Huntsman Winter's War (2016) - Trailer

Cedric Nicolas-Troyan's The Huntsman Winter's War (2016) is going to be a must-see film of 2016. I watched the short trailer yesterday ten times; it was great. This trailer is two minutes and a half long and does not disappoint. Emily Blunt (as Freya the Ice Queen) starts the trailer by asking, "Mirror, Mirror, on the wall, who is the most powerful of them all?" The Huntsman Winter's War is the sequel to Snow White and the Huntsman…

  • Gods of Egypt (2016) - Trailer

Gods of Egypt (2016) - Trailer

Alex Proyas' Gods of Egypt (2016) reminds me so much of an Egyptian styled Percy Jackson in a good way. I really liked the trailer, the action scenes, the scale of creatures and terrain. The only thing I did not like was the "battle armor" between the Gods Set and Horus looked a little cheesy with the graphics/gold looking too shiny. Gods of Egypt is getting a lot of trash talk for having a mostly-white cast…
