Director Mark Netter brings us a new version of sci-fi horror that is more modernized in Nightmare Code (2014). This trailer walks us through the simple uses for this new technology as behavior recognition. The program evolves into a behavior modification code leading humans to do evil acts. A great example of a good movie trailer. Andrew J. West, Mei Melancon, and Googy Gress star in Nightmare Code.

Anthony DiBlasi's (Dread (2009), Last Shift (2014), Cassadaga (2011)) Last Shift (2014) is a horror thriller movie that most of you horror fans will enjoy. This trailer gives you a complete scope of what to expect from this horror film. There are scary, creepy scenes throughout the trailer but even though a lot is revealed in the trailer, the ending is going to get you. Juliana Harkavy, Joshua Mikel, and J. LaRose star in Last Shift.

The Inhabitants (2015) - Trailer

Co-directors Michael Rasmussen and Shawn Rasmussen bring us The Inhabitants (2015) which seems very suspenseful and slow. The movie trailer looks like a much more interesting and faster-paced version of the film but if you like slow developing horror films full of suspense, The Inhabitants may be just what you need. There are some pretty cool creepy scenes in the trailer too. Elise Couture, Michael Reed, and India Pearl star in The Inhabitants.

Amnesiac (2015) - Trailer

Michael Polish's Amnesiac (2015) movie trailer looks interesting with Kate Bosworth and Wes Bentley playing wife and husband until Wes Bentley realizes she is not his wife after all. Amnesiac seems like it is along the lines of Stephen King's Misery (1990) but with more mind games. Kate Bosworth, Wes Bentley, and Olivia Rose Keegan star in Amnesiac.

Blackburn (2015) - Trailer

Lauro Chartrand's Blackburn (2015) is not a movie for everyone. Fans of the subgenre including films like The Texas Chain Saw Massacre and The Hills Have Eyes would enjoy this movie, but I do not like that subgenre, so the trailer was viewed with those thoughts in mind. The movie trailer looks okay in the beginning half then spirals out of control with tons of gory scenes. Lochlyn Munro, Jen Soska, and Calum Worthy star in Blackburn.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016) - Trailer 2

Warner Bros. and Zack Snyder's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016) has a new trailer that premiered on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night. This trailer is jam-packed with new footage in a 3-minute video. The trailer stresses the tension between Superman (Henry Cavill) and Batman (Ben Affleck) with Lex Luther (Jesse Eisenberg) making an appearance along with Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) and Doomsday. The movie trailer ends with the core members of the Justice League…

Unnatural (2015) - Trailer

Hank Braxtan's Unnatural (2015) from VMI Worldwide has some great sceneries and tone. I usually do not put much stock in survival movies because they are so similar, but this trailer makes me excited to see the full film. The trailer slowly sets up the watcher for the "mad scientist" aspect of the movie where they reveal that genetically engineered polar bears have been created, and they are huge. James Remar, Sherilyn Fenn, and Ron Carlson star in…

He Never Died (2015) - Trailer

He Never Died (2015) is coming to movie theaters on December 18, 2015, via Vertical Entertainment. Jason Krawczyk directs Henry Rollins, Booboo Stewart, and Steven Ogg in this supernatural noir film. The trailer looks really good and full of action. Jack (Rollins), aka Cain from Genesis, is still alive and tries to live a simple life, but someone kidnaps his daughter and Cain is mad for revenge. I really want to see this movie, but I do…

976-Evil II (1991) - Trailer

I have a soft spot for the trailers from the 90's and there strong narrative. Jim Wynorski's 976-Evil II (1991) movie trailer looks fantastic and has all the right scares. The 976-Evil movies, including Robert Englund's 976-EVIL (1988), have always been a guilty pleasure of mine that I watch again every few years. This trailer is a good movie trailer for a not so good film. Debbie James, Rene Assa, and Patrick O'Bryan star in 976-Evil II.

Horror Videos
Horror videos and movies have grown to become the longest-lasting movie genre in history. Horror videos are intended to elicit a feeling of dread, fear, or dismay. Expect the unexpected and count on an intense atmosphere that grows at a face pace. Horror videos often lull you into a sense of tranquility then suddenly create a menacing effect that jolts you out of your comfort zone. They can leave you with a vague ending, so you have the sense that the menace still remains, which is the perfect set up for a sequel. The two main subjects of horror videos are supernatural beings (vampires, phantoms, demons, etc.) or real situations and figures (serial killers, medical tragedies, etc.).

Scary Videos and Why We Love Them
The appeal of scary videos has grown over the years and with the new crop of films, such as Saw, The Strangers, Session 9, and Wes Craven's New Nightmare, the definition of horror has also evolved. These movies display more explicit gore, jump scenes, scares, and supernatural content than ever before.

But why do we love these scary videos? These movies allow us to confront our most primal fears, all in the comfort of our own home. Scary videos are terrifying, exciting, fascinating, and thrilling. The musical score adds tension, builds suspense, then releases it for a roller coaster ride our nerves love. Scary videos appeal to the basic human condition and to our attempts to overcome our fear. No matter why you love scary videos, one fact remains - we can't wait to watch the next one.
