  • New 'Hellyfish' Poster and Trailer

    New 'Hellyfish' Poster and Trailer

Directors Patrick Longstreth and Rob MacLean are bringing us a horror short treat this Halloween. Patrick was so nice to send over the new poster and trailer. I also got to see the full short and this thing is awesome. Hellyfish does not take itself seriously and I love it for that. This screams Syfy in a good way and I cannot wait to see more from these guys. Visuals are good, acting is stupid-funny like the roles should be acted and the cinematography is excellent, very stylized. The full version even takes a funny stab at The Jersey Shore guys, really funny scene. At the end, you are treated to a nice soundtrack that helps move the tragedy on-screen splendidly.

Syfy‘s Sharktopus vs. Pteracuda (2014) is not only a creature feature but also a love story!? This is a twist on the classic monster battle movie but I sure am interested in what this really means and more importantly, how can you make the next monsters’ name any weirder.
