PAX East 2017: Tom Savinis New Jason Voorhees FRIDAY THE 13TH: THE GAME Design Revealed!

Horror special effects master Tom Savini lent his expertise to create a new version of Jason Voorhees for the Friday the 13th: The Game based on a version of Jason who has had a long stay in Hell. Gun Media and IllFonic revealed the new look and trailer for the Camp Crystal Lake killer game for the PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 (PS4) to be featured at the PAX East 2017 event. Featured in the trailer is Crazy Lixx‘s song “Killer.“‘s song “Killer.” It is time to take the Friday the 13th: The Game seriously!

This trailer highlights a new song from Crazy Lixx ("Killer"), and features a host of new brutal kills and a first look at Jason models from Friday the 13th Part 8: Jason Takes Manhattan, and Friday the 13th Part 9: Jason Goes to Hell.

New version of Jason Voorhees, created exclusively for Friday the 13th: The Game by the legendary horror icon himself, Mr. Tom Savini

This is the first Jason Voorhees created by Tom Savini since Friday the 13th Part 4: The Final Chapter (1984), and the first new Jason in the series since the 2009 film reboot.

At the end of Friday the 13th Part 9: Jason Goes to Hell, Jason gets drug into the depths of hell, seemingly gone forever. This Jason model reflects Tom Savini’s interpretation of what might have happened to Jason after this epic event.

Friday the 13th: The Game is being developed for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4, for release in Early 2017.
