Here are 10 Horror Movies That Eerily Came True and I have to say some are shocking. A few of these horror movies were used by serial killers and madmen as excuses for committing various crimes. Other films listed here were created because of and inspired by real events including the supernatural and poltergeist hauntings. A Nightmare on Elm Street and the Scream franchises make an appearance on this list; the late Wes Craven was attached to both films.
