The Vampire Diaries is renewed for Season 3. Find out what to look forward to in this video mashup with the cast. Vampire Diaries is still the CW’s biggest hit bringing the CW network 4.0 million viewers of its target audience of women 18-34. Season 3 spoilers are available.

Season 3 of Vampire Diaries will begin shooting sometime in July to make ready for the Fall premieres coming this September.

Season 2 was fantastic and managed to maintain it’s high ratings but slipped in the end to 2.7 million viewers in the 18-49 year old demographic.

The Vampire Diaries are sure to kick off just as great in the Season 3 installment with the amazing cast.

This video is awesome in that the cast really get to share their wishes and hopes for their characters. Paul wants Stefan to relax a bit, Candice Accola and Zach Roerig are hoping that their characters make it to the next season and do that get knocked off, funny. Ian wants Damon to run off with Elena. Nina Dobrev just can’t wait to get some free time in order to catch herself after playing both roles.

We are certainly in for some good times with Season 3 of The Vampire Diaries.
