Grabbers is a horror movie that I was on the fence about but these two new clips really set the “scare factor” tone. In Grabbers clip 1 a dude is hanging by his arms by the alien creature and the husband gets impaled leaving the wife to run for her life. In the Grabbers clip 2, we get our first glimpse at one of the smaller creatures and a scientists sharing about his findings while investigating the creature. The clips make the Grabbers movie look very promising.
Synopsis: On Erin Island, an idyllic fishing village off the coast of Ireland, charming but somewhat work-shy Ciaran O’Shea, is tasked with greeting Lisa Nolan, a straight-laced young officer who has arrived from the mainland. Not that there is much for them to do, aside from dealing with the occasional drunk, and that’s usually O’Shea himself. But strange doings are afoot: the crew of a fishing boat disappears, whales start appearing dead on the shore, a local lobsterman catches a strange tentacled creature in his trap. Soon it becomes clear to O’Shea and Nolan that there’s something big out there, and that it’s hungry. It’s time to rally the villagers, arm the troops…and head to the pub.

Simultaneously, blood-thirsty, sea-dwelling aliens arrive at the quiet island to propagate. As dead whales wash up on shore and people start mysteriously disappearing, officers and a few locals slowly discover their peril along with one sure defense - high blood alcohol levels, which the aliens can't stomach.
