If you missed John Pogue‘s The Quiet Ones (2014), good news is the Blu-ray and DVD is about to release this August 19, 2014 thanks to Lionsgate Home Entertainment. The Digital HD release date is August 5, 2014. Special features include deleted scenes, gag reel, audio commentary with John Pogue plus documentary and featurette. The Quiet Ones star Jared Harris, Sam Claflin and Olivia Cooke.

Inspired by actual events, the thriller The Quiet Ones is coming to Blu-ray(TM) (plus Digital HD), DVD (plus Digital), Video on Demand and Pay-Per-View on August 19 from Lionsgate Home Entertainment. The eerie supernatural story will be available two weeks earlier on Digital HD August 5. The film stars Jared Harris (TV’s "Mad Men"), Sam Claflin (The Hunger Games: Catching Fire), Erin Richards (Open Grave), Rory Fleck-Byrne (Vampire Academy) and Olivia Cooke (TV’s "Bates Motel").
When a crazed university professor (Harris) and his team of students set out to cure a disturbed patient, the unthinkable happens. The Blu-ray and DVD both include audio commentary with director John Pogue and producer Tobin Armbrust, deleted scenes and a gag reel. The Quiet Ones will be available on Blu-ray and DVD for the suggested retail price of $24.99 and $19.98, respectively.

Official Synopsis: In 1974, Oxford professor Joseph Coupland invites introspective lad Brian McNeil to film his experimental treatment of subject Jane Harper, aided by student assistants Krissi Dalton and Harry Abrams. Jane, a young woman with no memory of the past and repeatedly abandoned by foster families, believes herself possessed by a doll named Evey that gives her telekinetic power. Keeping her awake in an isolated house, Prof. Coupland intends that she puts her evil energy into an actual doll, thereafter destroying it to heal Jane. Amidst strange things happening in the house, Brian feels sorry for Jane and, researching her tattoo, learns an evil secret about Jane's past, and of Prof. Coupland's motivation.
