Top Underrated Horror Movies 2014

This is a movie list of the most underrated horror movies that I like. Everyone is not going to agree with the entire list but I know you will find some hidden horror movie gems in this list that you haven’t seen yet. I have seen these movies recently, many late-night on Netflix Instant. I watch many of these movies yearly and they have really grown on me as personal favorites. It would be of no surprise to see a few John Carpenter movies in the list, unintentional. We decided to list horror movies as far back as 1980. Some of these movies are also lesser known cult horror movies that general horror fans may not know of while others are movies that I watched and was amazed by the story and cinematography.
