Natalie Dormer‘s The Forest (2016) is inspired by the real suicide forest, Japan’s Aokigahara Forest aka “Sea of Trees”. This real life suicide forest claims over 100 victims each year. The Aokigahara Forest sits at the foot of Mount Fuji. This is a short film documentary spanning 21-minutes, directed by Santiago Stelley and a Vice Media production.
