Bruce Hopkins (Raymond Bruce Hopkins) is an actor that was born November 25, 1955 in Invercargill, New Zealand. His mother is Colleen Marguerite, and his father Bill Hopkins is a crayfisherman. Bruce was once a PE teacher and crayfisherman before turning to acting. He had various jobs in the performing arts field including theater company actor, voice actor, professional dancer, radio host and movie actor. He was a professional dancer in New Zealand and Australia for nine years. Two dance companies that he was a member of was Limbs Dance Co. and Black Grace Dance Co. He is 6' (1.83 m) and has three children whose names are Tom, Joe and Francesca.
Bruce Hopkins is most famous for his role as Gamling in Peter Jackson's the Lord of the Rings trilogy: The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (2002), The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (2003) and Housebound (2014). He is also noted for doing the voice in Power Rangers Ninja Storm for the evil Choobo.
