Blumhouse and Brad Peyton (San Andreas, Journey 2: The Mysterious Island, Cats and Dogs 2) is bringing us, Incarnate (2016), an entirely different possession/exorcism film where a violent archdemon wages physical war with every exorcist who attempts to help. The last alternative is with Aaron Eckhart who is a man who battles demons in the victim"s mind. A very different take if done right, could redefine the sub-genre and encourage more filmmakers to step a little out of their safety zones. Incarnate will release in US movie theaters on Friday, December 2, 2016. Incarnate stars Carice van Houten, Mark Steger, and Aaron Eckhart.
