Paranormal Entity Review

Prepare to see what is allegedly the "actual footage" of the supernatural events leading up to the 2008 murder of Samantha Finley...

Paranormal Entity (2009) is directed by Shane Van d*ke who also stars as the lead in this film. This movie has an extremely low budget and has no opening nor ending credits to the film further trying to make the film seem like a true horror found footage movie.

Samantha Finley (Erin Marie Hogan), Ellen Finley (Fia Perera), Edgar Lauren (Norman Saleet), and Thomas Finley (Shane Van d*ke) all star as the uncredited cast. That is all to create the effect of authenticity to the film; we never feel the film is authentic in any regard.

Paranormal Entity at first seems like a huge joke to Paranormal Activity (2007). This movie gets annoying after the first few minutes, but the ending is worth it. I thought that having three individuals in this enactment would make it better than Paranormal Activity, but once again I was misled. I liked the final ending minutes where the stupidity is replaced with intense horror. That alone, however, could not help make this film an average film with the horrible acting and mediocre story to get us to the end.
