Storage 24 Review

In London, a military plane crashes leaving its highly classified contents strewn across the city. Completely unaware that the city is in lockdown, a group of people become trapped inside a storage facility with a highly unwelcome guest.

Storage 24 contains gore, lots of killing, hideous alien like creature, profanity, scary, suspense, thrills, humor and did I mention some very frightening scenes. The movie title basically tells us where most of the movie will take place, in a storage facility of some sort. The acting was good and realistic, much like what an average person would do and how they will react to a situation like this. This movie contains so much face slashing and gore that it just became gruesome to a point.

What can be worse than being trapped in a storage facility with an evil alien like creature? Well being trapped with an alien like evil creature and in a love triangle with the two other involved people in the same container, oh and also everyone being killed off one at a time and not knowing who will be next. Oh my, can you imagine, being in a storage facility, hearing a loud crash above and then to learn that an object did crash and an alien creature escaped. The crash caused the facility security system to go into lockdown mode and therefore the creature being stuck in the same place as the humans. What an unsuspected death trap that is for these innocent people.

Johannes Roberts (Turn Your Bloody Phone Off, The Expelled, Forest of the Damned) directed this British sci-fi horror film and did a good job combining comedy, horror and deaths. This is a fun film to watch, also it is so cliche. Storage 24 did have some loose ends, like whatever happened to the rescue team that came to solve the problem with the crash. You only see them when the crash happened and then they disappear. They were no where to be seen in the movie again or at least I didn’t see them.

The CGI effects on the monster alien like creature was awesomely done. They really did do a fantastic job with this creature. They did not try to hide the creature in anyway. I might be watching more movies from this director in the future. He has great potential in my opinion.
