Way of the Wicked Plot Synopsis:

Father Henry goes to a local police detective and they learn that a troubled teen with a dark past has recently moved to town and has set his sights on the cop's beautiful, young daughter. Father Henry, who turns out to have secrets of his own, finds himself pitted against a demonic force more diabolically evil and twisted than any of them could have imagined.

Way of the Wicked (2014) Review

Way of the Wicked (2014) was such a waste of my time. I am getting so tired of all these awful 2014 movies. This will be a short review because the movie was too slow, bland and boring for my taste. I like the switch that Vinnie Jones made from always being the bad boy in movies to being a family man in this film. I did not think this movie would fail because Christian Slater and Vinnie Jones are two actors I like to see in movies. Vinnie and Slater acting was pretty decent for this film but could not help the movie because of the terrible storyline.

I am not sure what to say this movie contains so I will tell you what it does not contain. It contains no violence, no suspense, no sexual contents, no horror, no thrills, no humor of any kind and no gore.

I am not sure if it was director Kevin Carraway (7 Below, The Fear Chamber, The Big Confession) fault for this movie failing miserably or if it was the writer, Matthew Robert Kelly (Transparency). Kevin only did four previous movies before this film and Matthew only screenplay one movie before Way of the Wicked. I think the writer and director both did very poorly at their work and needs more experience before putting out another movie.

This movie is just like all the other movies that failed. A little kid has to die in order to supposedly save the world from evil disaster. Way of the wicked is about John Elliott (Vinnie Jones - Galavant, Overtown, Reaper, 6 Ways to Sundown) who is a police detective and the father to a teenage girl. He is accused of being a drunk of a father, but I hardly saw him drunk during the entire movie. The synopsis basically says what the whole movie is about and the good parts of the movie is in the trailer - that is if you call that good. It was strange to see Christian Slater acting as a priest. He did a good job as creepy Priest Henry. He portrays himself as creepy since he was always seen hiding in the bushes. Why is it that Henry never sees when anything happens to anyone but yet claims that he has all the answers.

There is no way I can relate to any of the characters because they all seem so fake and you can see they are trying to be someone they are not. Terrible acting from everyone except for Slater and Vinnie. I do not recommend this movie to anyone because it reeks.
