Yoga Hosers Review
Synopsis:Two teenage yoga enthusiasts team up with a legendary man-hunter to battle with an ancient evil presence that is threatening their major party plans.
Yoga Hosers (2016) is an American comedy horror film that is 88 minutes and was shot in Los Angeles, California, USA and Santa Clarita, California, USA. Director, editor and writer Kevin Smith (Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back (2001), Clerks (1994), Comic Book Men (2012), Dogma (1999)) failed at executing his spin-off of his 2014 horror film Tusk (2014). Yoga Hosers was aimed/made for 13-year-old girls, and I am not 13 but from viewing this film, I doubt that my nieces will enjoy this movie. The film was, awful, weak dialogue, barely watchable, had a couple of funny moments, pointless, bad countless Canadian jokes, and did not deliver. I gave this movie a one because it was not watchable and I could not give it a zero so please do watch at your own risk if you wish total boredom upon yourselves. The few minor funny moments does not last long.
Yoga Hosers revolves around 15-year-olds Colleen Collette and Colleen McKenzie ( Harley Quinn Smith - Clerks II (2006), Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back (2001), Tusk (2014)) who works at Eh-2-Zed convenience store after school. Colleen Collette (Lily-Rose Melody Depp - Tusk (2014), The Dancer (2016)) and Colleen McKenzie are on their smartphones constantly, sings in a small band, and takes yoga classes. The girls are annoying as can be, will do just about anything to receive an invitation to a senior party. They discover that their hometown was once the home of a N*zi splinter group during World War II. The leader of that N*zi group has been residing under the store that the girls work at, and the ancient evil leader will rise soon resulting in him releasing his army of monsters. The girls cannot let that happen so they join with a legendary man-hunter named Guy Lapointe ( Johnny Depp - Edward Scissorhands (1990), Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2007), Alice in Wonderland (2010), Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003)) from Montreal. The trio has to fight an army of N*zi sausages that, not sure if to write this or not but major SPOILER: forces themselves up humans/people’s butt/assholes.
