The Human Centipede III (2015) Review
The Human Centipede III (2015) is an American-Dutch satirical body horror film that is the third and final installment in Six’s Human Centipede trilogy. Writer and director Tom Six (The Human Centipede (First Sequence) (2009), The Human Centipede II (Full Sequence) (2011), I Love Dries (2008)) failed in every possible way to make this movie watchable. The film contains sexual content/references, brief nudity of someone’s buttocks, extreme violence, and bad language.
Psychotic prison warden Bill Boss (Dieter Laser - The Human Centipede (First Sequence) (2009), The Lost Honor of Katharina Blum (1975), John Glueckstadt (1975)) is seen watching the ending of The Human Centipede 2 (Full Sequence) with his accountant Dwight. We then saw Bill’s assistant Daisy (Bree Olson - Comedy (2015), Rawhide II: Dirty Deeds (2009), Carolina Jones and the Broken Covenant (2008)) massaging his feet only to be sexually assaulted seconds later by Bill. Bill and Dwight Butler (Laurence R. Harvey - The Human Centipede II (Full Sequence) (2011), Call Girl (2014), The Editor (2014)) was interrupted by a phone call about an inmate stabbing an officer. Bill decides the best punishment for the inmate Inmate 178 (Tommy ‘Tiny’ Lister - The Fifth Element (1997), The Dark Knight (2008), Jackie Brown (1997), Friday (1995)) is to snap his fingers until the bones are exposed - carnal and mind boggling.
The next scene had me regretting watching this film as Bill receives a mysterious package containing a jar of dried African clitorises. Bill eats the dried clitorises to gain strength. I thought what Bill did to the previous inmate was wrong but what he did to the next inmate was painful to watch as he disfigured him with boiling water. This movie is plain out sick and should be banished. Bill and Dwight were ordered to get their acts together, or they will be fired, so they decide to do a mass castration of the inmates leading us to see him eating one of the inmates cooked testicles. Well, we all know this was coming, and that is the duo suturing the prisoner’s mouth to anus leading them to form a giant human centipede.
The Human Centipede III was a disaster from the beginning to the end, and I was overwhelmed with joy when it was finished. The movie was a pain in the bottom to watch as it was all over the place with a slow pace and contains nasty events that make some viewers gag. Movies like this should not be done because it is just wrong. Females were being taken advantage of in several different ways in this film and authorities was taking advantage of their positions. The screenplay, actors, special effects, sound, cinematography, makeup and every single thing about this movie was horrible resulting in a score of zero/one.
