    The Crooked Man was a creepy character in James Wan‘s The Conjuring (2016) film, and here we have some additional creepy designs for The Crooked Man. This character helped to make The Conjuring 2 one of my favorite horror movies of 2016. James Wan tweeted in a confirmation that The Crooked Man is a not CGI and was played by a real person, Mama (2013) actor Javier Botet. Conceptual artist Jared Krichevsky (Krampus (2015)) shared a few pieces of creepy cool concept art below. James Wan wanted The Crooked Man to have a nightmarish moon face concept initially.

In the video, Guillermo del Toro states that he would mention The Exorcist (1973), but as a kid, it did not do anything for him.
