Francisca met several men through the internet and decided to kill her family in 2004 so that she can move in and marry one of the men she met on the internet who live in a different city. Francisca killed her husband, Antonio who was 41-years-old on January 12, 2004, by poisoning him with Colme and sedatives Zolpidem and Bromazepam. She then murdered her daughter Sandra who was 15-years-old on June 4, 2004, with the same medications used on her husband and tried to kill her 12-year-old son Antonio but he survived after being admitted to the hospital June 4, 2004. An autopsy report showed that Sandra was poisoned.
