GRIMM Cancelled with Season 6 as Series Finale!?

NBC’s Grimm Season 6 will premiere on January 6, 2016, with a shortened season six. Season 5 seemed to be heading to a smooth conclusion with news of the show ending with season six a little expected. It just seems natural that the show needs to end with the previous episodes somewhat entertaining besides the obvious push in action in every episode. The big question now is whether NBC will give us another horror tv series or will they give up on the genre. What do you think, is it time to end Grimm?

NBC is working on a Brides of Dracula TV series, and it sounds silly. Did they really cancel the Constantine TV series for this? The three brides become free from Dracula’s control and are now “empowered women” who will do things to maintain wealth, prestige, legacy” and family. What!? Will they still be vampires, I think so. Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa (Carrie (2013), The Town That Dreaded Sundown (2014)) is set to write the series. NBC is working on the pilot now, and the new TV series is called Brides. NBC has committed to creating the pilot and will be set in modern-day New York City. NBC wants to answer “what if the brides of Dracula hadn’t been staked and decapitated by Abraham Van Helsing?” What do you think of the Brides TV series?

NBC Creating Xena Reboot TV Series - Rob Tapert, Sam Raimi, Lucy Lawless Attached!

Rob Tapert, Sam Raimi and NBC are working on a new Xena Reboot TV Series in which they are calling a modern reboot. Lucy Lawless is going to have a role in the new TV series and she will also have a role behind the camera. A writer is being sought after right now along with a new leading lady. There are two things wrong with the NBC Reboot already. First is that NBC is notorious for dropping TV series or giving them horrible timeslots. Secondly, Xena: Warrior Princess aired from 1995 - 2001 and may be one of those TV shows that were good at “that” time period. Do you agree with bringing back Xena in a modern reboot?

Netflix and Amazon Not Picking Up Hannibal TV Series

Bryan Fuller has released the latest update on Hannibal; Netflix and Amazon both said no to picking up the Hannibal TV Series. Ouch! Fuller remains hopeful that there are other avenues to pick up Hannibal. Hulu might be an option, but Hulu is part owned by NBC, who is making this their final Hannibal season. FX and A&E might be the next possible avenues, heck maybe even the El Rey network or even Syfy. Just speculating right now but we will keep you posted on new developments.

NBC HANNIBAL TV Series Cancelled!

NBC’s Hannibal TV Series has been officially cancelled. There will be no Hannibal Season 4 and Hannibal will conclude with the final 13 episodes of NBC’s Hannibal Season 3. Season 3 premiered on June 4, 2015 with the season finale now turning into the series finale on September 3, 2015. Bryan Fuller’s Hannibal TV series was pretty good once you invested the time in it. The Hannibal TV series cast included Mads Mikkelsen, Hugh Dancy, Laurence Fishburne, Caroline Dhavernas, Glenn Fleshler, Gillian Anderson, Joe Anderson, Tara Mae Thornton, Richard Armitage and Nina Arianda. Fuller has high hopes that another network will pickup Hannibal in the near future. RIP Hannibal, it was a good run and I hope the series finale is epic.

Constantine TV Series is Cancelled Officially!

NBC’s Constantine TV Series was cancelled by NBC but the studio was shopping around for someone to pickup the horror TV series but unfortunately no one did. Constantine Executive Producer Daniel Cerone officially announced that the cast and crew are now released from their contracts because Constantine is officially dead. I personally liked Constantine a lot and thought it was getting progressively better as new episodes were released. Constantine was speculated to find a new home on Syfy or even CW but that did not happen. Sad news indeed, Constantine Season 2 could have been awesome! RIP Constantine TV Series…

Hannibal Season 3 Poster - Black Leather Biker Hannibal!?

Bryan Fuller who is the showrunner for NBC’s Hannibal Season 3 has dropped a new poster featuring Hannibal in black leather. No… not something freaky, Hannibal is wearing a black leather biker outfit. Season 3 of Hannibal will premiere on Thursday June 4, 2015 at 10:00 EST. Starring in this season of Hannibal are Mads Mikkelsen as Dr. Hannibal Lecter, Glenn Fleshler as Cordell Doemling, Gillian Anderson as Dr. Bedelia du Maurier, Joe Anderson in place of Michael Pitt as Mason Verger, Tara Mae Thornton in the recurring role of Reba McClane, Richard Armitage as Francis Dolarhyde, aka The Tooth Fairy serial killer, and Nina Arianda as Mary Graham, Will’s wife.

NBC's Hannibal Season 3 Promo Art with Hannibal Lector

Mads Mikkelsen as Hannibal Lector is sporting a very different look in the latest promo art for NBC’s Hannibal Season 3. I really like the TV series a lot. I am especially excited to see how NBC has removed our carefully-calculating Hannibal Lector from his designer suite and clean cut persona. Hannibal returns with season 3 on June 4, 2015. Other great stars cast in Hannibal Season 3 are Zachary Quinto, Glenn Fleshler, Rutina Wesley, Richard Armitage, Nina Arianda, Hugh Dancy and Gillian Anderson.

Zachary Quinto Joins the Cast of NBC's Hannibals Season 3

NBC’s Hannibal Season 3 has just added Zachary Quinto (FX’s American Horror Story: Asylum, Star Trek, Heroes) to their roster. Hannibal is a very deep TV series that I believe is not getting as much traction as it should be. I personally love the show but do not find myself overly excited to see the next episode like other TV shows. Glenn Fleshler (True Detective) will star as Cordell Doemling who is the verbally abused medical aid to Mason Verger. Rutina Wesley (HBO’s True Blood) will also join the Hannibal TV series as Reba McClane, a blind woman who is the love interest of Francis Dolarhyde (Richard Armitage), aka The Tooth Fairy serial killer. Nina Arianda will play the part of Will Graham’s (Hugh Dancy) wife Molly. Other returning stars include Gillian Anderson and Mads Mikkelsen.

NBC Greenlights 10-Episode Dramedy 'Apocalypse' Starring Rob Lowe

NBC and Sky TV has just greenlit a new futuristic dramedy “Apocalypse”. Set to star in Apocalypse are Rob Lowe, Megan Mullally, Jenna Fischer and Mathew Baynton. NBC describes the series as out-of-the-box and original. I hate to call it so early but I am not sold on this new TV series… next.

NBC Cancelling Constantine After Only 13 Episodes!?

NBC has officially stopped production on Constantine Season 1 after the first 13 episodes. That means that the Constantine first season will not get the full amount of episodes that it deserved. I watch the Constantine TV show and really want to see where the main story goes but NBC is not sure about continuing the series right now. NBC was hoping that fans of NBC’s Grimm TV series would cross over to Constantine but not enough of that audience has. People might not be crossing over because of the 10 pm airing and the fact that the series has been shaky to say the least. NBC has not flat out cancelled season 2, NBC has put everything on suspend until ratings pick up else that will be the end of Constantine. There are also rumors floating around that NBC might handover the Constantine TV series to Syfy to continue the series.

NBC's New Exorcism Drama Horror TV Series Details

NBC has confirmed that are working on a new horror series dealing with exorcisms and demons. NBC has brought us some good horror series in the recent years with Hannibal and Grimm but lets not forget about NBC’s Dracula series cancelled after only one season. The series seems like it may be a short horror series like Netflix’s Hemlock Grove, currently set to end after Hemlock Grove Season 3. Anyway, I will definitely watch a demon horror series from NBC.

NBC's Constantine TV Series Casts Angelica Celaya as DC Comics Zed

NBC’s Constantine TV series lost Lucy Griffiths but they have just cast Angelica Celaya as Zed. Zed is an important character from the comics who will be introduced earlier than originally expected in the TV series. Zed will replace Liv (Griffiths) character completely as the new co-character. David Goyer (Executive Producer) wanted to move away from the teacher/student relationship and jump straight into the meat of the DC Comics Constantine lore.

NBC's Constantine TV Series Premiere Date

NBC’s Constantine Season 1 is something I know many horror fans are aching to know when the premiere date will be. The official release date is this upcoming Friday October 24, 2014 at 10:00 pm. This hammers the final stake into the cancelled NBC’s Dracula TV series thus taking it’s time slot. Constantine stars Matt Ryan, Lucy Griffiths and Harold Perrineau.

NBC's Dracula Season 2 Cancelled!

NBC has officially killed Dracula, there will be no season 2. I watched the Dracula TV series but I felt the episodes were a bit drawn out at times but I believe that was to build suspense. I am a big Jonathan Rhys Meyers and he played his part extremely well as usual but there were some altercations. Meyers was paid about $100k per episode for the 10 episode season but NBC held his salary until the entire season was shot. This was done because Meyers has had substance abuse throughout his career and NBC did not want Meyers to become a liability. Meyers is said to have had a “meltdown” while shooting that required hospitalization in London. Meyers is then said to have returned to rehab after all 10 episodes were filmed. I am sad that we could not see more Dracula and I wish Meyers all the best and a speedy recovery.

NBC's Hannibal Season 3 Confirmed

Creator Bryan Fuller has confirmed that NBC will continue the Hannibal TV Series with Hannibal Season 3. It was uncertain whether NBC would renew Hannibal but I know every horror fan is now glad that they are continuing with the Hannibal story. Mads Mikkelsen is perfect for the role and the supporting cast is great, a terrific show if you are still waiting to start Hannibal. Starring in Hannibal are Hugh Dancy, Mads Mikkelsen and Caroline Dhavernas.

NBC Confirms Constantine TV Series

NBC is officially going to air a Constantine TV Series based on the DC Comics paranormal P.I. There will be Angels and Demons mayhem as you can imagine. Playing John Constantine will be Matt Ryan. There is no exact premiere date but it is assumed that that a Fall premiere is likely. I cannot wait to see Constantine Season 1.

The new horror TV mini-series will tell a new story that is not a remake of the 1968 Roman Polanski horror film. Zoe Saldana, Patrick J. Adams, Jason Isaacs, Carole Bouquet and Christina Cole will star in NBC’s Rosemary’s Baby.

NBC's Rosemary's Baby Miniseries - Teaser Poster

Zoe Saldana‘s is now filming NBC‘s latest horror series Rosemary’s Baby. The teaser poster attached says so much even though it is simply a pregnant mom-to-be next to a baby carriage. I cannot wait to see what NBC has in store for us. This installment of Rosemary’s Baby will film and take place in Paris, France. Also starring in Rosemary’s Baby is Patrick J. Adams, Jason Isaacs, Carole Bouquet and Christina Cole.

Grimm Episode S03E05 - El Cucuy - Stills and Plot Details

I have been really into the latest Season of NBC’s Grimm and here is the latest on Season 3 Episode 5 “El Cucuy”. We have some stills for the upcoming episode along with the plot synopsis. I really want to see the scare with Adalinds’ (Claire Coffee) baby and what news Juliette (Bitsie Tulloch) learns about Nicks’ (David Giuntoli) mom. I know there is supposed to be another Grimm showing up sometime this season. This episode is set to air November 29, 2013.

The Grim Season 2 package includes a five-disc plus UltraViolet Blu-ray or DVD set that includes a ton of extras all listed below. Have fun watching Grimm Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli).

NBC Dracula - Trailer 2 is Great!

The new trailer for NBC Dracula starring Jonathan Rhys Meyers looks great! I was stoked before and I just can’t wait now. The new horror TV series premieres October 25, 2013. In this trailer we have a track from Depeche Mode titled “Soothe my Soul” that sets a great tone for the trailer. Watch the Dracula trailer and get stoked!

NBC's Dracula starring Jonathan Rhys Meyers

NBC‘s latest horror venture will be the 10 episode NBC Dracula TV series starring Jonathan Rhys Meyers. NBC will also be bringing us the Munsters reboot along with the Hannibal TV series. The new Dracula TV series will be based on the Bram Stoker’s Dracula so there will hopefully be no pretty cuddly vampires. We will see ferocious vampires hunting humans, the way it should be. I love the vampires whose presence brings total fear to all on the screen as well as off screen. Jonathan Rhys Meyers played a cold king in The Tudors and he should be an even better portrayal of Count Dracula. I am excited with this news already and this is just the casting.

Top 10 Horror TV Shows of 2011

The Fall season of horror TV shows warrants a nice must see list. We have a lot of new shows in this top list. In the list of returning shows we have The Walking Dead (AMC), The Vampire Diaries (CW), Supernatural (CW), True Blood (HBO) and Being Human (Syfy). Adding to the lineup we have Teen Wolf (MTV) and Death Valley (MTV). Worth mentioning are The Ringer (CW), Fringe (FOX), American Horror Story (FX), Terra Nova (FOX), Grimm (NBC), The Secret Circle (CW), Dexter (Showtime), Haven (Syfy), Warehouse 13 (Syfy), Todd and the Book of Evil (Fearnet) but not really up there in my top rated list but you might want to watch them.

NBC Fairy Tale Themed Grimm

Fairy tale themed “Grimm” has been added to the NBC line up. Grimm will air Friday nights at 9/8c.
