E3 2016: PREY Reveal Trailer [Video]

Bethesda released their Prey reveal trailer, and that was welcomed warmly with a lot of excitement. The visuals are nothing short of astounding. President of Arkane Studios, Raphael Colantonio had the pleasure of revealing the trailer to the audience. We have waited for a follow-up to the 2006 Prey and finally have something to see. More will be revealed at the QuakeCon being held this August 2016 in Dallas. Our main character wakes up in the year 2032 and is experiencing some kind of Groundhog Day experience after some experiment. Telltale Publishing‘s new horror video game 7 Days to Die releases for the Playstation 4 (PS4) and Xbox One on June 28, 2016. 7 Days to Die looks like it has merged the same game mechanics from DayZ with a bit of action from State of Decay. Not that that is a bad thing but just an observation. Watch this trailer from E3 2016 because this game shows some promise as a good zombie survival game for 2016.

  • PARANORMAL ACTIVITY Virtual Reality Video Game in 2016!?

PARANORMAL ACTIVITY Virtual Reality Video Game in 2016!?

Paramount Pictures has joined with Beast Media Group to bring Paranormal Activity fans what they always never knew they wanted… the Paranormal Activity virtual reality video game. Virtual reality (VR) has had so many downs more than ups and I cannot imagine Paramount Pictures making the plunge into the gaming realm on something so shaky. I imagine a lot of money was passed around the table but I kid you not, I want this game to be great. It would be awesome that after so many years, the first best virtual reality game would be a Paranormal Activity game. The Paranormal Activity VR game is scheduled to release in 2016 for the HTC Vive, Sony’s Project Morpheus, Oculus Rift, PC, mobile, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 (PS4). That is certainly a lot of systems to perfect the gamer experience for.

  • The Joker's Fate in BATMAN: ARKHAM KNIGHT Opening Sequence - E3 2015

The Joker's Fate in BATMAN: ARKHAM KNIGHT Opening Sequence - E3 2015

The opening sequence for Batman: Arkham Knight was revealed at Sony’s E3 2015 and along with that was the fate of The Joker. The cinematic shows what happens with The Joker and throws in a bit about “This.. is how it happens. This is how the Batman DIES!” Game developer Rocksteady shows some amazing visual graphics and the story seems extremely deep and riddled with twists. We get to experience a very scary Scarecrow hallucination, enjoy. Batman: Arkham Knight releases on June 23, 2015 for the PlayStation 4 (PS4), Xbox One and PC.

Find out why Michonne left her group and the events that transpired during and after. • Square Enix FINAL FANTASY VII HD Remake - E3 2015

Square Enix FINAL FANTASY VII HD Remake - E3 2015

Square Enix has finally revealed their Final Fantasy VII HD preview at E3 2015.  This has been teased for years and they even mention that in this video. This game will release on Sony‘s Playstation 4 (PS4) first, then release to other consoles shortly after. I was shocked when I heard they will be releasing Final Fantasy VII HD for other systems too. I have been waiting for the HD release for a long time but sadly, there is no official release date for Final Fantasy VII HD yet. We will post once the release date is announced.

  • Capcom's 'Resident Evil Remake' January 2015 Console Release

Capcom's 'Resident Evil Remake' January 2015 Console Release

Capcom just announced that they will be releasing the new Resident Evil Remake for XBox 360, Playstation 3 (PS3), Playstation 4 (PS4), XBox One and PC on January 20, 2015. This game will release for $19.99. So what is this remake? The remake will feature the game mechanics from the previous “update” that was made for the Gamecube back in 2002 for the original 1996 original Resident Evil game. The main selling point and focus of this update was to enhance the graphics to high quality HD and they look stunning, especially compared to the previous 2 games’ graphics. This core game is what the “real” Resident Evil franchise started from, now with enhanced graphics, you must replay this classic horror game. Check out the graphics for the PC version below, the visuals are stunning.

  • Techland's 'Dying Light' Zombie Game Release Date Announced

Techland‘s new survival horror game Dying Light will release this upcoming January 27, 2015 for the Xbox 360, Xbox One, Playstation 3 (PS3), Playstation 4 (PS4) and PC. I cannot wait to play this action zombie game where you must outrun zombie hordes. The release date was pushed back to iron out any bugs and increase the smoothness (framerates) of the action sequences in-game.

  • Goro Pre-order and Mortal Kombat X Release Date Announced

Goro Pre-order and Mortal Kombat X Release Date Announced

Warner Bros. has revealed that Mortal Kombat X will be released on April 14, 2015 for the Xbox One, Xbox 360, Playstation 3 (PS3), Playstation 4 (PS4) and PC. Adding to the announcement is that Goro will be a special pre-order bonus for Mortal Kombat X. Usually special DLC’s are released to the general public for purchase after some time. I cannot wait to see the promo release for Goro battling in the new Mortal Kombat system of different fighting styles. I played Injustice: Gods Among Us and felt that the DLC costumes & character downloads were cool but too expensive for the player experience. I bought the season pass and that was it. I hope since another “brand” is not involved here that we can get more bang for our buck from developer NetherRealm Studios.

  • Take-Two's 'Evolve' Game Delayed to 2015

Take-Two's 'Evolve' Game Delayed to 2015

Publisher Take-Two recently announced that the Left 4 Dead developer’s Turtle Rock Studios latest game Evolve will be delayed with the new release date of February 10, 2015. The original date was scheduled for October 2014 but I know we will get an even more polished game in the final product. Evolve will release for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 (PS4) and PC. I am a little disappointed too but I am looking forward to a better final game.

  • Original Capcom 'Resident Evil' Remake for Modern Platforms

Original Capcom 'Resident Evil' Remake for Modern Platforms

We love our zombies and what’s better than taking a great game and giving it an upgrade in the latest graphics? Capcom will be doing just that in their new port of the Resident Evil that was originally released way back in 1996. This port will not be changed in any way unlike the Gamecube port in 2002 which made it seem refreshed to older players. The new Capcom Resident Evil remake will feature 1080p HD 16:9 widescreen with remastered 5.1 surround sound. You can get the new port for the XBox One, XBox 360, Playstation 4 (PS4), Playstation 3 (PS3) and PC this early 2015 in both North America and Europe as a digital download.

  • PS4 Exclusive The Order: 1886 Delayed Till 2015

PS4 Exclusive The Order: 1886 Delayed Till 2015

The Playstation 4 (PS4) exclusive The Order: 1886 has been officially delayed until early 2015. This is bitter-sweet because I really wanted to play this one but the good news is that it will be a better game for the delay. Originally we were to get The Order: 1886 this fall 2014. Ready at Dawn decided this was the best path for a spectacular game that they could make better. In The Order: 1886, you play as Galahad who is a member of the order of Knights who protect humanity from an ancient evil. The world and characters are best described in the game developer Ready at Dawn video below.

  • Scary Horror Game Outlast DLC 'Whistleblower' Release Details

Scary Horror Game Outlast DLC 'Whistleblower' Release Details

Horror game Outlast was one of the best horror games of 2013. The Outlast DLC Whistleblower will be released this May 6, 2014 in the U.S. and on May 7, 2014 in Europe for PS4. The surprising news is that this DLC will act as both a prequel and sequel says developer Red Barrels. I cannot wait to so how the original horror story expands on the enjoyable original game.
