This has to be one of my favorite Star Wars fan films ever, Darth Maul: Apprentice is filled with action, suspense, and more action. Shawn Bu produced, wrote, and directed this terrific film. This video features a proving point for Darth Maul to assume his position as top commander to Darth Sidious. There is no connection to the Star Wars films but the action and a feel that is amazing. Darth Maul commences attacking a small group of Jedi Knights. The fight choreography is very impressive and you are going to love it!

Artist Matt Ferguson created our latest set of Star Wars Trilogy art that is licensed for Bottleneck Gallery. All prints come in both regular color edition and a special gold variant. These posters went on sale at 12 pm EST on February 25, 2016.The special gold variants are a limited edition run of 225. The regular color editions are a timed edition that will end on February 28, 2016, at 11:59 pm EST. Prints for the regular color edition have unlimited sets but will conclude on the end date. I am a big fan of batinthesun‘s Super Power Beat Down episodes, and this video is no different with Spider-Man vs. Darth Maul. The fight starts at around 6:40 with some excellent fight choreography scenes. There is also a cool cameo from Stan Lee and a great ending. Marvel vs. Star Wars can happen in a weird spinoff. Hilariously funny, a Spanish news network is apologizing for mistakingly mixing up the Star Wars Rebel Alliance logo with the al-Qaeda logo. The video is below and I could not help watching it a few times, too funny. This is when news anchors do not properly research the material they are posting about, but it happens from time to time so let’s not take it too seriously.

Star Wars Duel in Moscow with Professional Fencers and Lightsabers

Watch this awesome video shot in Moscow 2015 during the Fencing Senior World Championships as professional fencers battle with lightsabers while wearing classic Star Wars cosplay costumes. About twenty-five minutes into the video the two guys switch weapons, guess they got bored with that weapon and wanted to show off their mastery in both forms. Lucasfilm’s Star Wars movie lineup has been leaked online right before the Comic-Con 2015. Major oops on someone part but a major win for the millions of fans out there. The Obi-Wan Kenobi solo film titled Kenobi: The Balance of the Force and the Fett/Solo Anthology are listed here. This could be a fake or this may be the real deal so take this photo with a grain of salt but nevertheless, get excited.

Sarah Michelle Gellar Cast in Star Wars Rebels

All you Buffy the Vampire Slayer fans should be happy that Sarah Michelle Gellar has been cast in a recurring role in Disney XD’s Star Wars Rebels. Full details in the press release below but basically Gellar will play a yet to be disclosed character. She will join her husband Freddie Prinze Jr. for Star Wars Rebels Season 2.

Gareth Edwards to Direct Godzilla 2, Godzilla 3 and Star Wars Spinoff

Gareth Edwards is definitely the man of the hour. Straight off his recent success with Godzilla (2014), he has signed on to direct Godzilla 2 and Godzilla 3. However, he will be taking a break before Godzilla 2 to direct a Star Wars spin off. The Star Wars film will release in 2016 so at best, we may see another Godzilla movie in 2017 but most likely later.
