Margot Robbie Wants to Give You Harley Quinn FOREVER!

Margot Robbie played a fantastic Harley Quinn in David Ayer‘s Suicide Squad (2016). Margot Robbie spoke on playing the character again, and she responded with the desire to play the role “forever!” The Suicide Squad cast signed multi-picture contract with Warner Bros. so it is very likely going to happen and I would like to think soon too, like in the next Batman film. WB is already developing a spin-off Harley Quinn spinoff film, so there is that too. Bonus, with Harley Quinn, there is always The Joker (Jared Leto) not too far away.

Stephen King's IT Blu-ray Announced / Confirmed!

Stephen King‘s It (1990) TV mini-series directed by Tommy Lee Wallace is one of those things you wonder “why is it not on Blu-ray yet?” Good news is that the Blu-ray version of Stephen King’s It is confirmed! The bad news is it is priced at a hefty $54.97 as a pre-order on Amazon. The special features are not revealed yet, but a combo with the T-shirt still does not warrant such a high price. Look for this Blu-ray release to become available on October 4, 2016, via Warner Bros. Home Entertainment. The animated film Justice League Dark releases on Blu-ray, DVD, and VOD later this Fall 2016. Voice talents include Camilla Luddington, Nicholas Turturro, Jason O’Mara, Matt Ryan, and Ray Chase.

Warner Bros. / Stephen King's IT Release Date Announced!

Director Andres Muschietti (Mama (2013)) is bringing Stephen King’s It (2017) back, and Warner Bros. has announced the release date is September 8, 2017. While the film has had a lot of ups and downs, with Cary Fukunaga (True Detective) departing as director and actor Will Poulter (The Revenant) being rumored to be cast as Pennywise the Clown then that falling into limbo. At this stage, this film is still being thought to release as a two-part film even though producer Roy Lee confirmed this in a previous interview, things change and not sure if that changed too. It would be a disaster to release it as a single movie, and there is always the possibility of them creating this into a trilogy somehow to stretch this cash cow even further. We will keep you updated as further movie news is revealed.

Warner Bros. Making Film Adaptation of Stephen King's DOCTOR SLEEP

Warner Bros. is moving forward with the film adaptation of Stephen King’s Doctor Sleep novel, the sequel to Stephen King’s 1977 novel, The Shining. Akiva Goldsman is tasked with writing the screenplay adaptation where Danny Torrance is all grown up working at a nursing home where he meets a collection of people known as The True Knot. Stephen King is executively producing with Jon Berg and Jon Gonda supervising for Warner Bros. Goldsman made movie adaptations for I am Legend (2007), I, Robot (2004), The Client (1994), and is also attached to Rings (2016) as a co-writer. We will keep you updated on the Doctor Sleep news once a director and release date in confirmed.

Amazing BATMAN V SUPERMAN Deleted Scene COMMUNION [Video]

Warner Bros. just released a new deleted scene video titled “Communion” for Zack Snyder‘s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016). This scene is amazing because it shows Lex Luther (Jesse Eisenberg) in front of some huge creature holding what looks like Mother Boxes, linking supervillain Darkseid. Great scene but it would have probably been too much set up for the Justice League movies, further alienating viewers of this film and confusing them without seeing the bigger picture that executives and higher ups are seeing right now. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, and Gal Gadot.

ANNABELLE 2 Release Dated Revealed!

Warner Bros. is releasing New Line Cinema‘s Annabelle 2 in movie theaters on May 19, 2017. David F. Not sure if this is the film where paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren meet the cursed doll. The real-life Annabelle is currently at the Ed and Lorraine Warren Occult Museum where tours are given under close supervision. When the plot is finally revealed for Annabelle 2, we will post immediately. Are you ready for the next journey in the cursed doll Annabelle’s life?

Eli Roth Left MEG Movie - Jon Turteltaub in Talks

Eli Roth has quietly left the big screen adaptation of Meg and now Jon Turteltaub is in talks to fill his shoes as the director. Rumors suggest that Eli Roth left due to budget concerns. Warner Bros. is looking to capture a family crowd like Jurassic World (2015) did recently, so Turteltaub is an excellent fit with National Treasure (2004), The Sorcerer’s Apprentice (2010), and 3 Ninjas (1993) in his past credits. Meg is based on the popular novel written by Steve Alten featuring two men hunting a rampaging Megalodon shark off the coast of China.

Sam Raimi to Direct WORLD WAR 3 Film

Sam Raimi is set to direct World War 3 which will be based on George Friedman‘s 2009 non-fiction bestseller, The Next 100 Years. Warner Bros. Pictures will set up the project with Sam Raimi at the head, so stoked. I cannot wait to see what Raimi does with this project.

BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE Getting a R-Rated Ultimate Edition Release

Zack Snyder‘s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016) will be getting a special R-Rated Edition Blu-ray/DVD dubbed the Ultimate Edition. The R-Rating is due to the “sequences of violence.” That is the version I want to see first, but I will have to wait for the Blu-ray for that. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice releases in movie theaters this upcoming March 2, 2016. Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, and Amy Adams star in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

BLADE RUNNER Sequel Releases January 12 2018!?

Alcon Entertainment and Warner Bros. has released the release date for the Blade Runner sequel. January 12, 2018, is the date set for us to see Rick Deckard’s return. Too bad we have to wait until January 2018 to see the Blade Runner sequel, but the good side to this is that we will hopefully get a well-baked movie.

First Footage from Solo WONDER WOMAN Film [video]

DC Comics, Warner Bros., and Patty JenkinsWonder Woman (2017) releases in movie theaters June 23, 2017, but we have the first footage video here. Lots of new footage and scenes to see. Warner Bros., DC Comics, and Zack Snyder’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016) releases in movie theaters this upcoming March 25, 2016. I bet they could never have dreamed up something as funny as this parody weird trailer. I couldn’t stop laughing and had to watch it twice. Aldo Jones did great with this video.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Trailer - Easter Eggs [Video]

Fanboys and non-fanboys ate up Zack Snyder‘s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016) second trailer today but now Mr Sunday Movies has released his video pointing out all the Easter eggs that most people missed. This video contains six Easter eggs and references contained in the new movie trailer. Warner Bros. and DC Comics hope this film will finally kick-off the DC movie universe with the beginnings of the Justice League (Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman) coming together to fight a devastating threat to the world, Doomsday. Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, and Jesse Eisenberg star in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

GODZILLA VS. KING KONG Confirmed for 2020 Theatrical Release

Legendary Films and Warner Bros. have confirmed that Godzilla vs. King Kong (2020) is officially releasing in movie theaters in 2020. This clash will come after the Kong: Skull Island (2017) set to release in movie theaters on March 10, 2017, and Godzilla 2 in 2018. I can only hope that we get a fully “baked” story and a few clashes before the big final fight or at least a long feature rich battle scene. How excited are you to see this film, they have a lot of time to think about it and execute it.

GODZILLA VS KING KONG Moving Forward at Warner Bros

Warner Bros is allowing Legendary Pictures to bring the new King Kong movie, Kong: Skull Island (2017) to Warner Bros so that everything will be done under one roof for the epic battle of Godzilla vs King Kong movie. This news is extremely early, but just knowing that Warner Bros has started the wheels in motion for such a battle is exciting. We may not see any sign of the showdown until the second Godzilla film releases in three years. How many of you want to see the epic rematch of Godzilla vs King Kong?

Fan Art of Mark Hamill as The Joker in BATMAN: THE KILLING JOKE Movie

BossLogic has created an awesome fan art featuring Mark Hamill as The Joker in Batman: The Killing Joke (2016). Batman: The Killing Joke is a new animated film adaptation from Warner Bros. and DC Comics that tells the tale of The Joker shooting Barbara Gordon (Batgirl) to get back at Commissioner Jim Gordon. This film adaptation is one of the very exciting storylines that Batman fans have been looking forward to watching for some time now, awesome!

Gil Kenan Directing FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY'S Movie

Warner Bros. acquired the movie rights to make a movie based on the popular horror game Five Nights at Freddy’s. Warner Bros. has reached out to Gil Kenan (Poltergeist (2015)) to direct the film. Kenan along with Tyler Burton Smith (Sleeping Dogs, Prototype 2) will write the script. Joining a movie director and video game writer is a great idea. I cannot wait to see these animatronic figures come to life and scare us in a real life movie adaptation.

Mark Hammil Confirmed to Voice The Joker in The Killing Joke Animated Film

I cannot wait to see the new Batman animated film Batman: The Killing Joke (2016), especially now since Mark Hamill has been confirmed to voice The Joker. Warner Bros. Animation made the right choice to bring Hamill back into The Joker role; he is The Joker. This story is based on the novel by Alan Moore and Brian Bolland. The Joker escaped from Arkham Asylum and shot Barbara Gordon to terrorize her father Jim Gordon. This story also brings into play the Joker origin and has been one of the best novels ever created.

First Trailer for Suicide Squad Rocks / Batman and The Joker Cameos!

David Ayer‘s Suicide Squad (2016) finally has a trailer released, and we aren’t even in 2016 yet. Warner Bros. and DC Comics teamed up to bring us this large assembly of DC Villains turned good guys, in a fashion of the word. Suicide Squad doesn’t even release in movie theaters until August 5, 2016. We get a taste of Batman (Ben Affleck) and The Joker (Jared Leto) in the film too. Suicide Squad is going to have so many villains and cameos from the DC Universe that it is insane. Also cast in Suicide Squad (2016) is Margot Robbie, Jai Courtney, Scott Eastwood, Joel Kinnaman, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Viola Davis, and Will Smith.

Batman: The Killing Joke Film Confirmed for 2016 Plus More Films

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment and DC Entertainment have just announced three new films. Alan Moore‘s Batman: The Killing Joke, Batman: Bad Blood and Justice League vs Titans. A description of Batman: The Killing Joke is available below. These are some awesome stories and it is exciting that they will be featured as the new films out of DC Comics.

Guillermo del Toro / Warner Bros. No Longer w/ JUSTICE LEAGUE DARK

Guillermo del Toro is no longer attached to Justice League Dark and Warner Bros. just pushed the movie to New Line Cinema; wait… what just happened here? Firstly, del Toro is busy with Pacific Rim 2 (2017) and Crimson Peak (2015) as well as the latest Hellboy 3 coming soon tease. Secondly, Warner Bros. is focusing on their top-tier DC Comics characters like Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and the Justice League movies that they have moved the lower-tier characters like Constantine, Jason Blood, Zatanna and Deadman to New Line Cinema. At New Line Cinema, these movies will most likely receive a smaller budget. This also includes Vertigo ComicsSandman movie which is to be directed by and starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt. This is bittersweet because the movies will not get the high budgets as before but will still get made at some time so at least there is a win for fans. Sorry we lost del Toro in the process but we can only expect him to do only so much at one time.

Batman: Arkham Knight - Official Launch Trailer

The boys over at Rocksteady Studios and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment have released the Batman: Arkham Knight launch trailer for the game release tomorrow, June 23, 2015. The trailer features the track “Mercy” from Muse’s new album Drones. The trailer is filled with action and tops everything we have seen before but this time, it further stresses that this is the end of Batman.

Eli Roth to Direct Prehistoric Shark Movie MEG

Steve Alten‘s New York Times bestseller Meg - short for Megalodon - will get a movie adaptation by Eli Roth. Can this be the next Jaws (1975)? Two men attempt to destroy the monster shark which is huge to modern day sharks, approximate max size of a Mammoth Megalodon Shark are 50-78 ft and at about 70-100 tons. I do not know how two men will have a chance with that massive of a size difference. The book has the monster shark terrorizing California but due to financing, the shark will now terrorize China… yeah. It appears Warner Bros. is trying to make huge profits like Universal Picture‘s Jurassic World (2015) did.

Stephen King's The Stand 8-Part Miniseries Before The Stand Remake Feature Film

Stephen King‘s The Stand book is 1,100 pages long so with that much source material we know we need a big lead up into the meat of The Stand’s Remake feature film. With that being said, in-the-works right now is an 8-part miniseries that will provide a lead into Josh Boone‘s The Stand Remake which is going to be 3 hours long. By in-the-works we mean that Warner Bros. and CBS Films are currently negotiating with Showtime to develop the The Stand miniseries. If the miniseries gets the final approval, Josh Boone will helm the miniseries too making one giant unified vision for The Stand. Filming could begin as soon as early 2016. This all spells 11 hours of material for fans and that is excellent. Roy Lee and Jimmy Miller are set to produce The Stand Remake feature film with some kind of association speculated with The Stand miniseries plus Stephen King will be involved in both as well.

Cary Fukunaga Drops New Line Cinema's Stephen King's IT!?

Stephen King‘s IT adaptation has hit a major snag with Cary Fukunaga (True Detective) leaving the director’s chair causing major delays in principal photography. It was reported that Fukunaga felt creatively compromised and with the filming starting in mid-June 2015, he jumped ship. The new IT movie has been delayed until further notice.  Warner Bros. subsidiary New Line Cinema wanted to cut the budget down to 1 movie and cut the budget down from a pre-approved $30 million. Ben Mendelsohn was also originally sought out to star as Pennywise the Clown but passed on the role because of a pay cut; this led to Will Poulter being sought next as Pennywise the Clown. Not too sure if Poulter will stick around also. We also included a tweet from Stephen King. Long live Tim Curry as Pennywise the Clown!

Adam Wingard to Direct 'Death Note' Movie

Warner Bros. has made official moves to make a movie adaptation for popular horror manga Death Note movie with Adam Wingard. Shane Black was originally set to direct but now Wingard is the man. Jeremy Slater (Fantastic Four (2015), The Lazarus Effect (2015)) has written the first draft that Wingard will use.

The Conjuring Sequel Officially Titled The Conjuring 2: The Enfield Poltergeist

We have been reporting The Conjuring Sequel as The Conjuring 2: The Enfield Poltergeist (2016) for weeks now but it has now been officially titled on IMDB. Warner Bros. and James Wan are returning us to the famed cases of Ed and Lorraine Warren (played by Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson) but this time we are tackling the Enfield Poltergeist. The Conjuring 2: The Enfield Poltergeist is set to release in movie theaters on June 10, 2016. More details about the Enfield Poltergeist below.

James Wan's The Conjuring 2 Gets a New Writer!?

James Wan‘s The Conjuring 2: The Enfield Poltergeist (2016) has a new writer in David Leslie Johnson. Johnson has been hired to rewrite the script for New Line Cinema and Warner Bros. Now the original script was an early draft by James Wan, Chad Hayes and Carey Hayes with revisions made by Eric Heisserer. I feel better that this is not a complete redo but more of an ironing-out-the-bugs kind of rewrite. The Conjuring 2 is still set to release in movie theaters on June 10, 2016 with Ed and Lorraine Warren (Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga) behind the case of 2 demon possessed sisters.

Annabelle Blu-ray / DVD Release Date and Cover Art

Annabelle (2014) hits Blu-ray / DVD combo and Digital HD this January 13, 2015 thanks to Warner Bros. Home Entertainment. The blu-ray will feature the usual deleted scenes plus 4 featurettes. This might be the perfect time to watch Annabelle if you missed the theatrical release. Starring in John R. Leonetti‘s Annabelle are Ward Horton, Annabelle Wallis and Alfre Woodard.

James Wan Will Direct The Conjuring 2

James Wan has been confirmed to return to direct The Conjuring 2 (The Conjuring 2: The Enfield Poltergeist (2016)). Warner Bros. will release The Conjuring sequel under New Line Cinema. James Wan needed extra time to promote his and Universal Studio‘s Fast & Furious 7 film. James Wan will also head science fiction, horror and comedy films under his new Atomic Monster production label from the new agreement struck with New Line Cinema. I know James Wan will take everything that worked well with Ed and Lorraine Warrens’ paranormal case story and amplify it in the upcoming The Conjuring sequel, sad we have to wait until 2016 for the movie release.

The Conjuring 2 Moved to 2016 Release Date

The Conjuring 2 (The Conjuring 2: The Enfield Poltergeist (2016)) has been officially pushed back to a 2016 release date. Warner Bros. decided to move some dates around and The Conjuring 2 will now get some extra time to mature. The original October 23, 2015 date may be the release date for Crawlspace or Superstition but it is still too early to confirm. So you are going to have to wait another year to see paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren in another paranormal case. It is still unknown if James Wan will be attached to The Conjuring 2 but Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga is definitely returning for The Conjuring sequel.

Goro Pre-order and Mortal Kombat X Release Date Announced

Warner Bros. has revealed that Mortal Kombat X will be released on April 14, 2015 for the Xbox One, Xbox 360, Playstation 3 (PS3), Playstation 4 (PS4) and PC. Adding to the announcement is that Goro will be a special pre-order bonus for Mortal Kombat X. Usually special DLC’s are released to the general public for purchase after some time. I cannot wait to see the promo release for Goro battling in the new Mortal Kombat system of different fighting styles. I played Injustice: Gods Among Us and felt that the DLC costumes & character downloads were cool but too expensive for the player experience. I bought the season pass and that was it. I hope since another “brand” is not involved here that we can get more bang for our buck from developer NetherRealm Studios.

4 New Crazy Character Posters for Mad Max: Fury Road

Warner Bros. has just released a few more crazy trailers for Mad Max: Fury Road (2015), a total of 4 new character posters.
