The Exorcist III: Legion (Exorcist 3: Legion) focuses on the aftermath of the priest"s murder and a new serial killer running amok in Georgetown. Everyone knows the Exorcist franchise but how many of you saw the old classic trailers? We decided to add the trailer so everyone can see what it looked like. No Regan (Linda Blair) here but we get to see another aspect of the story. Not really one of my favorites but I watched it. Director: William Peter Blatty Writers: William Peter Blatty (screenplay), William Peter Blatty (novel) Stars: George C. Scott, Ed Flanders, Brad Dourif

For more than fifteen years Police Lieutenant Kinderman (George C. Scott) has been haunted by the death of his friend Father Damien Karras. Now, on the 15th anniversary of the exorcism that claimed the priest’s life, Kinderman’s world is once again shattered when a boy is found decapitated and savagely crucified. It’s just the beginning of a nightmare series of bizarre religious murders.

Lt. Kinderman and Father Dyer cheer each other up on the anniversary of the death of their mutual friend, Father Damien Karras, by going to see "It's a Wonderful Life" at the local theater in Georgetown, near Washington D.C. But there's no cheering Kinderman while a particularly cruel and gruesome serial killer is at large. His murders, which involve torture, decapitation and the desecration of religious icons, is bad enough; but they also resemble those of the Gemini Killer, who has been dead for fifteen years.
