Dying Light - 12 Minute Gameplay Video
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and developer Techland just dropped a full 12 minute gameplay video for their upcoming 2014 zombie game Dying Light. I saw the E3 trailer and this game looked simply awesome. This is pre-alpha footage so please see the bigger picture here as this will only get much better once it gets closer to release. That being said, I feel as though I am playing Dead Island: Riptide when I see this Dying Light gameplay video. During the trailer, I saw what looked like at least a hundred zombies on a highway all ready to interact and kill the player. I love the drop kick that the player can perform on zombies/infected and human enemies. The player pulled out a crazy looking knife that was also glowing blue at times by an electrical charge.
Dying Light already looks awesome, gameplay looks very fluid and deep.
During the day, players will traverse an expansive urban environment overrun by a vicious outbreak, scavenging the world for supplies and crafting weapons to defend against the growing infected population. At night, the hunter becomes the hunted, as the infected become aggressive and more dangerous. Most frightening are the predators which only appear after sundown. Players must use everything in their power to survive until the morning"s first light.
Dying Light will be available sometime in 2014 for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4, as well as the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC.
