Sam Liu"s Justice League: Gods and Monsters (2015) looks terrific with a fresh new take on our favorite DC Comics characters, releasing June 8, 2015. We get a look into the alternate universe where Batman (Michael C. Hall - HBO"s Dexter TV Series) looks far different from the traditional Batman and Harley Quinn is much more twisted than the usual Harley Quinn. Quinn has dead body parts in the fridge and dead corpses with Joker smiles everywhere in this preview from Machinima, Blue Ribbon Content and DC Entertainment. Batman gives a BIG surprise at the end. Also voice acting in Justice League: Gods and Monsters are Paget Brewster, Jason Isaacs and C. Thomas Howell.

About Justice League: Gods and Monsters Chronicles
From visionary producer and animator Bruce Timm (Batman: The Animated Series, Superman: The Animated Series), Justice League: Gods and Monsters Chronicles turns the DC Universe upside-down. In this dark, alternate world, telling the good guys from the bad guys is never easy: Superman is not the son of Jor-El, he"s the son of General Zod; Wonder Woman is not from peaceful Themyscira, but rather the warring nation of Ares; and Batman is more vampire-bat than man...and he"s not Bruce Wayne. It is unclear if our greatest heroes are here to protect us...or to rule us. Machinima has already announced a second season, which will come out in (2016).

Synopsis:In an alternate universe, Superman is the son of Zod and was raised by a caring couple of Mexican immigrants living in harsh conditions, Batman is a young vampiric doctor, Kirk Langstrom, obsessed with an everlasting search for a cure for his disease and Wonder Woman is Bekka, the widowed queen of the world of Darkside. The three antiheroes unite and create the Justice League, despite wheelchair-bound Lex Luthor and others' protests. They operate often outside of the law and often kill the villains, but the US government tolerates them and works with them to an extent, since the three are willing to cooperate with the authorities and they never kill civilians. However, the all out paranoia and protests against their methods and untouchable position are growing. Things take a turn for the worse, when they are framed for a series of murders of famous scientists, who work for the government, and President Amanda Waller orders their arrest. They decide to violently resist arrest at all cost, until they can find the real culprits themselves.
