If I have to explain to you why this is the best King Kong movie of all time, then chances are you ain't never gonna see it my way. Frankly, how any viewer can resist the raw magnetism of this flick's godawful performances, ludicrous yet dead serious plot and dialogue, pervy Kong, and its laughable multi-million dollar FX is beyond me. (And I didn't even mention the presence of Jessica Lange at the height of her hottie-ness!) At the end of the day though, perhaps it's the sage obversation of "King Kong"'s hack producer Dino De Laurentiis that sums it up best: "No one cry when Jaws die.
