Trailer: The Bees (1978)

Corporate smuggling of South American killer bees into the United States results in huge swarms terrorizing the northern hemisphere...

This is the extremely rare Australian video trailer for the 1978 "disaster" movie "The Bees", starring John Saxon and John Carradine. Bees are taking over America, and the screen, with as many of the buzzing insects superimposed over as much grainy stock footage as the film-makers could handle. This trailer was sourced from the K-Tel Home Video release of "Friday the 13th: The Orphan", which appears to be the only K-Tel title the trailer is featured on. It also appears to be a cut-and-paste job done by VTC as the film must have lacked an "official" English-language trailer. Also seen is the US Air Force test footage of a plane crashing, which is used in K-Tel's opening logo montage on all of their VHS releases. via DonaldTaft
