Where does 13 Seconds (2003) stand among horror films? Our review examines the scares, pacing, and what makes it unique in the genre.
Jeff Thomas directed 13 Seconds (2003) won four awards and was put together on a very small budget, do not have high expectations here. The cast includes April Cole, Danny Petrelli, and Kevin Kuras.
13 Seconds is about a group of musicians looking to make a music video, but then a serious of killings and misfortunes plague the entire shoot. I am so not trying to spoil this clever ending that you may miss because the film leading up to the ending is dull. It did not grab my attention and required me to rewatch the film again once I saw the ending. Wish the director had a bigger budget which would have definitely helped with adding much needed special effects.
13 Seconds starts off in a dream that gets you into the mood and on the brink of pissing your pants wondering what will happen next. Every turn and twist leads you to wonder what doom will follow the cast. 13 Seconds features some gruesome monsters and a terrific well thought out the story with an ending leaving you simply saying "Oh sh*t!"
