Amityville Dollhouse (1996), aka Amityville: Dollhouse (1996), is directed by Steve White. This movie is White’s only directed movie, but he is credited as the producer for The Devil’s Advocate (1997), Halloweentown (1998), The Adventures of Huck Finn (1993), and Cabin Boy (1994). Joshua Michael Stern is credited as the writer of the one hour, and 33-minute runtime rated R film. Not sure where it all fell apart but let us dive into the plot now.
Amityville Dollhouse does not feature the famous possessed Amityville house but a miniature version of it that is haunted or possessed, it has some serious evil vibes resonating from it. The mini devil house is given to a little girl, and all sorts of bad things ensue.
Amityville Dollhouse is the most s**ually charged film in the Amityville franchise. I remember watching this horror movie and thinking that the haunted doll house was a great inclusion in such a horror franchise. I enjoyed seeing things moving in the haunted doll house and then the real house getting affected. The gore factor is there, and the visuals are some of the best in the series. The adult actors play their parts the best they could which is not bad, but the children seem so out of place. This is a great horror film for true horror fans of The Amityville series and even those who are new to the series, but many of you should probably watch it last.
