Horror fans will enjoy our review of Chastity Bites (2013), where we cover its story, scares, and how it ranks among modern horror classics.

Chastity Bites (2013) is a bit off (cliche) of many other movies. Director John V. Knowles (Shadow.net, Close Shave) definitely needs more practice and advice on directing because this movie lacks all that is needed to make it a good movie. His wife, first time writer, Lotti Pharriss Knowles did not help the movie with her writing skills. The movie did have a nice concept but was not written and executed well.

This horror comedy did not make me laugh once, and there was zero horror. It was cheesy, boring and a daunting movie. I kept on watching the time to see if I am close to the ending because I was expecting an exceptional ending since the rest of the movie bombed. Chastity Bites contains many different problems in our society today. What will a mother/women do to stay beautiful and young - will they sacrifice the ones they love?. It contains four mean girls who make fun of others, a 453 year old Hungarian Countess Elizabeth Bathory and virgins. The movie is comprised mostly of females.

The opening of the movie led me to believe that the movie had potential, so I was disappointed soon after. Louise Griffiths (Unknown Caller, Beyond, Hardflip) did the best acting in Chastity Bites. Louise plays glamorous provocative Liz Batho/Elizabeth Bathory. Liz has the body everyone envies and the skin of a goddess. She also has the secret cure/remedy for luxurious skin and non aging beauty which comes with a dear price.

Chastity Bites is about a group of materialistic moms who hire abstinence consultant Liz Batho to teach the girls in high school about abstinence. Liz held a presentation and recruited 4 girls to be leaders and to set examples for the other girls in high school to follow. You cannot join the program if your not a virgin. Liz plans are falling into place until Katharine (Francia Raisa - The Guilty Innocent, Beyond Paradise, The Mindy Project) joined the V.A.G. group. Katharine and Leah (Allison Scagliotti - Losers Take All) are best friends and Leah has bad vibes about Liz and does not want Katharine to be part of the group. Katharine seems to be mesmerized by Liz and even fantasizes about kissing her. Leah started to look into Liz by researching her name and found that Liz only started the V.A.G. group for her own purpose that will not benefit the virgin girls.
