This in-depth review of Dragonheart (1996) explores its story, characters, and scares in detail, offering insights for every horror fan.

Rob Cohen‘s Dragonheart (1996) tells the story of the last dragon helping to rid the evil ruler. The dragon is voiced by Sean Connery and for me that was enjoyable. The dragon and Einon (David Thewlis) share their fate because if one dies then so shall the other. This was done when the dragon gave half its heart to save young Einon so that the monarch could survive. Bowen (Dennis Quaid) come to terms with the dragon for a mutual alliance.

The story falls into a seen-it-already stereotype which was disappointing. The dragon looked great and was designed by Scott Squire’s Industrial Light & Magic team who also did Jurassic Park. In 1996 Dragonheart was nominated for "Best Visual Effects."

I did like the movie a little but was bored because there was nothing new to be told her. I was bored at some points, and I will not watch this movie again.
