Director Karyn Kusama‘s Jennifer’s Body (2009) is an R rated movie starring Megan Fox as a succubus. Jennifer’s Body won 3 movie awards and was nominated for 4 four awards. Stating the facts here, Megan Fox was nominated for a Razzie Award for worst actress and won the award for the worst foreign actress, that is harsh. Jennifer’s Body features Jennifer (Megan Fox) who is friends with Needy (Amanda Seyfried). One night Jennifer falls victim to a ritual where she dies, she awakens as a newly created succubus wreaking her demon vengeance on her male classmates. Can Needy save her friend’s soul from the evil that possesses it now?
Jennifer’s Body suffered from the lead Megan Fox having to play a demon which is different from most of her previous roles. I enjoyed watching this film, and the special effects were good. I think the film received a lot of bad press at its theatrical release due to the Transformers and Michael Bay backlash. Watch the film, it is not that bad and should be watched with an open mind.
