Avengers Grimm Review

When Rumpelstiltskin destroys the Magic Mirror and escapes to the modern world, the four princesses of "Once Upon a Time"-Cinderella...

Avengers Grimm (2015) is an American science fiction action adventure movie that is 86 minutes long and was filmed in Los Angeles, California, USA. Director and writer Jeremy M. Inman (Sharknado (2013), Hercules Reborn (2014), Layover (2012), Sharknado 2: The Second One (2014)) did a fabulous job. He amazed me with his execution of this movie since this is the third movie that he directed and wrote. This is a family movie, but I would not recommend it to families with little kids as there is violence in the movie and can appear to be extreme at times. Every parent knows their child and what scare factor that can handle/see.

Avengers Grimm is about the famous fairytale characters we grew up reading about, watching on TV and loving. Rumpelstiltskin ( Casper Van Dien - Starship Troopers (1997), Sleepy Hollow (1999), The Omega Code (1999)) is nothing but evil and has a mission on his mind that involves him killing the king of "Once Upon a Time." He wants to have Snow White (Lauren Parkinson - Appetites (2015), In Mysterious Ways (2010), Phase Two (2013)) to partner with him in his evil task in attacking Earth. It does not end there; he also wants to rule both worlds which means that he has to fight the princesses of Grimm. The princesses of Grimm are Rapunzel ( Rileah Vanderbilt), Cinderella ( Milynn Sarley), Sleeping Beauty (Marah Fairclough), and Red (Elizabeth Peterson). Rumpelstiltskin turned a group of humans into thralls that will aid him in his battle to rule the world. He also had the aid of Wolf (Kimo Leopoldo) and Iron John ( Lou Ferrigno) whom he turned into a strong iron-like green creature. Major Spoiler - he turns Red (Elizabeth Peterson - Devil’s Night (2014), Instincta (2013), Halloween Hell (2014)) into one of his thralls. Will Rumplestiltskin have Snow White by his side in his fight to conquer the world?

The movie was a great watch, and it is a movie that I will watch with my family and friends again. Yes, I would recommend this movie for all families to watch with parents’ discretion of course. The set was done awesomely nice; actors all did a fantastic job with their parts, and the choreography was astonishing. The cinematography, lighting effects and specials effects were all done nicely. I gave this movie a score of a six because it strays from the fairytale I grew up with, and there were plot holes and small minor issues.
