Our take on Unnatural (2015) explores its plot, scares, and horror highlights to help fans decide if it deserves a place on their watchlist.

Unnatural (2015) is an American thriller action horror movie that is 89 minutes and was filmed in Fairbanks, Alaska, USA. Director Hank Braxtan (Freddy vs Ghostbusters (2004), Return of the Ghostbusters (2007), Four More Years of Vader (2005), Chemical Peel (2014)) did an okay job but could have done better. The movie had a weak screenplay with major plot holes that cannot be saved by the special effects. Unnatural is just like the regular movies that are seen on the SYFY Channel with nothing to set it apart from other movies consisting of a bland story, average characters, and nice special effects. The creatures, characters are not enough to make the film watchable except for the few bear encounters that are nicely shot. I gave this movie a five because what movie is not a cliche today. I felt that I was a bit too judgemental while viewing this film so I gave it a five to be fear because if I were a mindless viewer then it would receive a five for being somewhat entertaining.

UNNATURAL is about a Polar Bear and a crooked scientific group from the Clobirch Industries. Victor Clobirch (Ray Wise - RoboCop (1987), Jeepers Creepers II (2003), Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me (1992), X-Men: First Class (2011)) company has not only been testing endangered species but also modifying them. Clobirch Industries are also supposed to be monitoring climate changes to save endangered species if needed but did not expect to get results that are dangerous after experimenting on the endangered species. The movie was just like other films, except, in this case, it was a Polar Bear that was modified with wolf DNA. The Polar Bear escaped the lab and started a path of destruction as it made its way to the Black Rabbit Lodge. Brooking (Ron Carlson - Life Blood (2009), All American Christmas Carol (2013), Tom Cool (2009)) is a photographer who enters the film. Brooking is not your average sweet guy. He is rude, arrogant, annoying and obnoxious and I wanted him to be vanquished immediately. Brooking is doing a photo shoot with his models on the icy slopes of Alaska. What happens next is for you to discover if you are.
