An American Werewolf in Paris is about three friends who are on a thrill-seeking ride across Europe. They then meet up with the daughter conceived in An American Werewolf in London (1981) and save her from committing suicide over the Eifel Tower. They become entangled in a plot where psycho werewolves have discovered how to change whenever they want through a serum, no need for the full moon to transform into a werewolf.
An American Werewolf in Paris did not live up to the expectations of a sequel to the better An American Werewolf in London. I remember watching this werewolf film when it was first released and then now. I enjoyed it much more back then, and now I feel like it is a complete mess in pacing, acting and directing. I can not pinpoint if the directing was the issue or the screenplay, but the film suffered because of it. How events transpired in the movie was also a problem.
