Drifter Plot Synopsis:

A pair of outlaw brothers seek temporary refuge in a desolate town.

Director Chris von Hoffmann"s Drifter (2016) is a crime horror thriller film releasing in movie theaters this upcoming February 24, 2017, via XLrator Media and on VOD this February 28, 2017. This film sounds interesting with two outlaw brothers fighting through a small desolate town inhabited by cannibals. Aria Emory, Drew Harwood, Monique Rosario, Anthony Ficco, Rebecca Fraiser, and James McCabe star in Drifter.

Director Chris von Hoffmann statement:

DRIFTER is a stripped down hybrid exploitation thriller heavily inspired by genre films of the 70s and 80s. The initial idea of two brothers finding themselves trapped in a strange town was something I started working on when I was 16. Wasn"t until almost a decade later that I started developing it into my first feature film. My plan was to make this film as straightforward as I possibly could however twist it up in an unconventional way. Hopefully sculpting a unique cinematic experience that reminds people why they love films in the first place. A celebration of the medium. A deconstruction of genre. I believe in the power and sensationalism of movies and I"m not interested in presenting social or message driven stories. I"m simply interested in making relentlessly entertaining movies that go beyond just a log line and I hope Drifter will be the entry point to kick that off.
