Marc Zammit’s (Witch) new feature film, Jitters is currently in production and we’re delighted to share exclusive behind-the-scenes photos from a day on set with a major stunt.

Respected stuntman Aidie Palmer and his team brought the heat to the set of Jitters in Marc Zammit’s most daring day of filming yet. The scene saw the seasoned stuntman get set on fire multiple times. It was a sight to behold such an impressive stunt team at work and is an incredible achievement for an independent filmmaker.

Zammit said: ‘I was nervous about the fire stunt as it was my first time attempting something so intense and dangerous. As a new filmmaker, I always want to challenge myself and step outside my comfort zone and this certainly was the way to do it. I wanted this scene to feel raw and authentic and bringing in a professional stunt team made all the difference. They were
amazing and hats off to Aidie, a total legend, I was absolutely blown away by the result— it has elevated the project to another level’.

Synopsis

When Detective Collymore, a divorced single father, stumbles upon a disturbing case that involves the death of woman, he refuses to believe that she died of natural cause. Delving deep into the case, he soon discovers someone or something that tips his world on its axis and sends him headlong into the twisted, perilous world of Jitters... Entering the unknown, he’s thrown into a mind-bending journey where reality blurs and nothing is what it seems.

In a battle of wills, he must determine what’s real and what’s fantasy and outsmart this malevolent force... but is it real or is it the stuff of nightmares you may never wake up from?
