Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children Plot Synopsis:

When Jacob (Asa Butterfield) discovers clues to a mystery that spans different worlds and times, he finds a magical place known as Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children. But the mystery and danger deepen as he gets to know the residents and learns about their special powers and their powerful enemies. Ultimately, Jacob discovers that only his own special "peculiarity" can save his new friends.

Tim Burton"s Miss Peregrine"s Home for Peculiar Children (2016) reminds me how excited I was to see a Tim Burton film as a child. Burton"s latest film looks like it will be another fantastic film for the entire family. I have seen two trailers so far that have only peeked my imagination of what Burton will do in this movie. Eva Green as Miss Peregrine, the school headmistress, Asa Butterfield as Jacob Portman, Ella Purnell as Emma, Cameron King as Millard, Lauren McCrostie as Olive, Thomas Odwell and Joseph Odwell as the Peculiar telepathic Twins, Pixie Davies as Bronwyn, and Samuel L. Jackson as the villain Barron round out the amazing cast.

Synopsis / Plot Summary: When Jake discovers clues to a mystery that spans alternate realities and times, he uncovers a secret refuge known as Miss Peregrine"s Home for Peculiar Children. As he learns about the residents and their unusual abilities, Jake realizes that safety is an illusion, and danger lurks in the form of powerful, hidden enemies. Jake must figure out who is real, who can be trusted, and who he really is.
