Our honest review of Slaughter High (1986) breaks down its scares, pacing, and whether this horror movie truly stands the test of time.
Slaughter High (1986) is co-directed by George Dugdale, Mark Ezra, and Peter Mackenzie Litten. Slaughter High is rated R and a gem from the 80s horror film genre if you have an open mind and like the movies from that era. This low budget film has gore, boobs and is downright hilarious.
Slaughter High is about eight people who are invited to attend their old high school ten years later for a reunion. As you can imagine, they are invited for one purpose, revenge. The victim of a past prank gone wrong and now disfigured wants to take his vengeance by turning the tables on his former tormentors.
Slaughter High is not a film that you watch for a complete story or compelling acting. You watch Slaughter High for the hilarious acting, gory kill scenes, and laughable plot. I will not watch Slaughter High again anytime soon, but I do not regret watching it because I had some good laughs and you might too.
The Slaughter High (1986) Collector’s Edition Blu-ray will release on October 31, 2017.
