Shortwave is a psychological thriller that plays well with its sci-fi and horror elements.
Shortwave delivers a great Lovecraftian tone in the films psychological thriller. Having a very small cast allows the viewer to attach themselves to connect with the couple and their mysteriously lost child. The director and actors deliver interesting scenes that pull the viewer in. Shortwave does end abruptly but delivers some creepy and scary moments.
Shortwave is releasing on October 24, 2017, via Vega Baby Releasing and Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.
